The quality of this mic is impeccable, however it picks up literally everything. If you are looking to use this as a microphone for your computer to stream or do anything other than have short conversations or voice commands then a boom arm is mandatory. The stand it comes with picks up every tap, touch, bump, mouse click, or keyboard stroke that you make. I turned the mic onto cardiod and the gain all the way down and it still picks up my mouse clicks. I have gotten it down to a minimum with some third party programs, but it is still there. This microphone is excellent for recording your voice or sounds that you need for editing, however it might pick up more than you would like.

As an executive coach, I am often on ZOOM coaching sessions for four to six hours a day. I bought some seriously expensive headphones with noise-canceling so I could hear clearly and use the built-in microphone for clients to hear me. When I listened to a recorded session I found that my voice quality was terrible. I bought this microphone and it has enabled me to speak at regular volume, not strain my voice, and have crystal clear sound. It has made my work easier, more effective, efficient, and understandable. Even my transcript editor commented on how much better my automatically generated transcript is because my voice is more easily understandable. I highly recommend it. Photos show "pop guard" I added but haven't found necessary because the mic picks up sounds far enough that I don't have to speak right into it. My mouth is about two-feet away when using.

Its good if youre starting out i think its a midrange mic i would recommend for starting a podcast or talking on discord with youre friends like me i get tired of headphones and want somethings a little nicer

The Blue Yeti is hands down one of the best USB mics out there. Whether I’m streaming, recording, or on calls, the sound is crisp and professional. Very clear microphone. love the colors available. It is a little big for small desks. The app to change the settings is very easy to navigate.

Definitely a very solid mic for the price. I would 100 percent buy again and recommend it to a friend. Sound is crisp and you can adjust the frequency and you can adjust the pattern in which the mic picks up sound. It also looks pretty nice on my desk. If you’re looking for a simple usb microphone for gaming, streaming, etc. You cannot go wrong with this mic.

I purchased this mic to use for recording voice for a weekly radio show. Corona virus required us to avoid the radio station that my partner and I broadcast a weekly show from. One of my bandmates had purchased the Yeti for his home recordings so I was familiar with it. Its strongest features for computer recording are its switchable polar patterns (4 patterns), input level, headphone output which allows for real time, latency free monitoring and headphone output volume level (a nice feature). From the moment I plugged it into my system I’ve found it easy to use, trouble free and great sounding. I can recommend this mic without reservations.

Superior sound quality over cheaper desktop mics, webcam mics, and built-in mics. Onboard hardware performs well cancelling most background noise and delivering full, rich sound. Pop screen can, of course, be added and used, but excellent recording results even without. Onboard mic gain, pattern, front facing mute button, and headphone monitor volume all very convenient. Can be used as delivered on solidly constructed, heavy desktop base, or can be mounted on a boom.

The usb connection makes recording very easy. It works and records great sound from both my laptop and my phone. Came fully assembled out of the box with no damage

Works wonderfully with PC and IPhone w/ adapter. I did purchase one of these and it simply didn’t work but I returned it in the store, got a new one at no additional cost and this one works great in every way. I use it to record videos, and I use it as my microphone for gaming.

This has been recommended by professionals in the live webinar and speaking platforms. It has a clear recording sound and picks up the voice nicely without the need to hold a mic or angle it toward your face.

The quality is definitely worth the price you pay for.

The best of USB microphones until jumping into a more involved sound system- imo. I've used this since 2014 and it's always been just right, change the onboard volume control to hear others or hear yourself, mute when you need, and you'll sound great to others. Just watchout for vibrations hitting this.

The Yeti Mic was all i expected and more. I have used it in producing videos and the sound is great. I have used it in webinars and have gotten compliments about how well it sounds. It is substantial, Easy to use, Very economical, and produces high quality sound.
