I needed an upgrade to the mic on my SteelSeries headset and this does well enough. You can toggle the recording pattern based on your needs, so it works for interviews, solo-recording, and for meetings. The input can be adjusted with Logitech G HUB (this software isn't so terrible anymore). It comes with presets that I didn't find helpful, and the EQ is pretty basic. Signal cleanup has a lot of options though it doesn't explain everything clearly. I ended up using only the de-esser and de-popper and rely on the Steel Series Sonar software for noise reduction, noise gate, compressor, and EQ. The stand is sturdy, but not really that great. I ended up getting an arm for it. The mic was on sale when I got it and I had Best Buy bucks, so it was worth it, but there may be better entry level mics at this point. Paired

I started out using a microphone built into my webcam, it's a Logitech webcam, it didn't sound too bad but had alot of distortion and I wanted something more. So I went out to get a Blue Yeti and it made a days difference. Highly suggest it!! You will not be disappointed!!!

I've used this since 2014 and it's always been just right, change the onboard volume control to hear others or hear yourself, mute when you need, and you'll sound great to others. Just watchout for vibrations hitting this.

Using the Blue Yeti and Audacity software I was able to create a fantastic sounding program from home for broadcast in my normal time slot. You will need to buy a pop filter for the Blue Yeti for better results. Mr. T, host of Positive Amplitude, Sundays from 6-8 PM EST on CJAM

I love the options on it to change how it records, with a gain knob. For general use,it’s good but I used it with OBS and Adobe Audition and got some great audio. Plug it to a USB port and you are ready to go

Great for beginners with a range of needs

I use it to record podcasts with multiple people and tutorials with just me. I have not used it to record music but I am blown away with what I have experienced already and would recommend this to anyone looking to take their podcasts and tutorials to the next level in quality.
