Another Side Of Jimi!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first became aware of the late guitar great's ability to play Blues when I bought the superb "Experience Hendrix" album which features "Red House". I learned from the liner notes of "Blues" that Jimi was a little known but highly regarded Blues Sideman, playing with many of the big talents of the late 50s and early 60s. This is an Essential Album for both Blues purists and Jimi fans who want to expand their knowledge of the man's musical greatness and legacy.

Absolutely FANtastic

While his earlier releases gained incredible popularity with Purple Haze, All Along the Watchtower, Voodoo Child, etc., this CD features a much more laid back Hendrix just enjoying himself as he plays some amazing songs. I listen to this CD on repeat for an entire day while at work, and just let the music go...
