    Awesome Hotspot

I went into Best Buy thinking I needed a new tablet because a hotspot I bought previously (straight talk hotspot) didn't work. When I told the sales rep, he told me I didn't need a new tablet but a good hot spot. He handed me off to another employee who told me that he would set up the new hot spot and test it before I left the store. I was told that the boost mobile netgear hot spot would be the best overall value for what I would be using it for. I left the store happy especially since an unscrupulous sale person could have sold me an expensive new tablet. I constantly use this hotspot at the gym to watch my Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus and Youtube as I exercise. I am so pleased.

We purchased this when we went on a family vacation. It kept the kids entertained the entire time. There were a couple spots down south where we didn't have reception but besides that it was Great and well worth the money.

I purchased the item with the understanding that I could purchase GB's as needed. Reality is there is a monthly charge. If the GB's are used up then there is a charge of $25 to purchase 1-2 GB's. I do not know right off the exact number but it is around the GB I stated. The GB's are used up very quickly compared to my last one through Sprint. I also purchased this item with the understanding that I could return if it wasn't working. I found out that it cannot be returned period for any amount of days used. I was a little disappointed in that response for Ive been a very loyal customer. I have purchased several computers, tv's, cameras, gopro and the list goes on. In summary, I would not purchase this item again.

I use this as a back up and I get a great signal 90% of the time. It's only in a few rural areas that I do not get a good signal.

this is great, downside is, it would not let me use it although I had about 3G left on it, it said it was suspended or something because my "payment" was overdue. Its supposed to be pay as you go, so I had to use my last $50 to re boost it so i could work from home during a snowstorm. i prefer to re boost when i need to, this makes me feel like i am getting a bill, which i didnt want. 3 stars for this reason

Have trouble activating account. Called boost mobile for assistance. (They were not very helpful). Once I did get it activated it seemed to roam even when not in use. Used a lot of data very quickly. I would only recommend this product if you were traveling short term or wanted to give wifi to the kids over winter break. Served its purpose but would not renew for another month.

Inexpensive and works great. I'm out in the country where there is no internet or satellite service. I get full bars and internet loads fast.

The boost hotspot is great for home or on the go usage. I did have a problem and called boost and was connected to a representative in the Philippines instead of the usa. I am not too happy with talking to a foreigner who can't understand english or help me. But over all I am content.

A lot better than AT&T, as far as price and data... Boost mobile gives you 10 GB for 50 bucks. Signal weak in some areas, but that's with all carriers...speed is fast when you have a good signal. You could hook it to an external antenna and get better reception if in a car or something.

Most of the time it's clocking at 3 to 6 Mbps in Internet speed,if you are just checking emails or surfing the Web it's a good wireless air card. I wouldn't recommend it if you are streaming videos.

Works well. If you use over the allotted time, then you need to reset your billing cycle. If you attempt to do this through the device it is incredibly slow.
