Gearbox went all out with the newest Borderlands game. All the best parts of all 3 games were taken and added to the newest release making this an EPIC welcome back to the Borderlands. Now you can mantle, slide, skin weapons, and use new vehicles. Plus they added weapon trinkets to upgrade weapons.... and there are over a billion different weapons to find and play with. Some new weapons are dual elements and many are switchable between them. Fast travel is now possible from ANY location that you are to any of the fast travel stations. Still working on my first play through but Im more than happy with this game. Cant wait for the dlc to drop.

This game series started the entire “shoot n loot” games. The 3rd is still the best game out today as the 2nd was when it was out. Look for it to be game of the year. The insane amount of “content” in the game is crazy and the maps are huge with a ton of new things.

The moment I heard the game is coming out, I kept daps on it. Joined the borderlands VIP websites for points and exclusives. The game as all games when first came out will have some lags and bugs, but it’ll go away as they continuously updating. Currently known problem as of 9/20, is co-op/split screen is nearly impossible to play on same console. But over the net with other friends is fine. Occasionally people dropped out of game when too much lag. Tends to happen when lots of animation is trying to load. Heard vertical split screen will happen eventually, and the new system that balances to let you to instantly get loot in your level/with your friends or the classic looting ninja who ever sees it first. Graphics is great, just don’t know why they made the font for the loading screen so small, I don’t even bother to read it anyways. You can also customize your button layout, which is awesome. Really, everything you want to know about this game is on YouTube or at the website for the game. If you’re a fan of BL series, I definitely give this a go. I bought the super deluxe, to save money on the long run for the DLCs. Since I bought BL2 DLCs all separately, because I was getting into the game, since the 1st game was a let down/didn’t buy DLCs.

I feel that the borderlands games can only fairly be compared to other Borderlands games. I have played them all. So, as a comparison. I thought BL1 was good, but it lacked things such as NPCs dialogue, and while it had tons of content, The side missions were pretty basic with no other purpose other than to give you XP. All the maps/environments looked too similar. I would give it an 8 because of the gunplay and the DLC which is the true genius of that game. Then came BL2. BL2 took what made BL1 good and made it better. The NPCs had dialogue, a lot of the side missions were really funny, even if lacking in purpose. BL2 had even more content and more story, tons of humor(=makes fun of american culture a lot, and I'm American) , better maps and again with the DLC being the true gems. Solid 8.5, some people would even give it a 9. the Pre-sequel while good, I think lacked a lot of the humor that made BL2 great,( I think this was due to the game being made with the team in Australia, it didn't poke fun at American Culture like BL2 did. ). I give it a 7.5 This brings me to BL3. Again this took the prior game BL3 and made it better. Specifically more hashed out story, well hashed out side missions, superior guns, better loot drops, more interesting maps. The game has had its fair share of glitches and faults, but even in spite of them, I think BL3 is an even superior game to BL2. I think over time the glitches will get adequately addressed. While I love the game, there is still room for improvement. I give it a solid 9.

So Borderlands is one of my wife and I's favorite game series and we were super excited for the 3rd one after such a long wait. I would say we are about 75-80% done with the game and it has been very fun despite some annoying bugs and glitches. Numerous freezes and crashes, noticeable lag, and other annoying glitches like spending hours on a circle of slaughter mission only for the last enemy to get stuck inside a building and having to start over. Even though we ran into these issues we still love the game overall and try to play it everyday. Once Gearbox fixes most of these issues with updates this would easily get a 5 star rating. Until then its a very awesome and fun co op loot shooter that I highly recommend.

Great if you have friends that will be joining you but otherwise not so great. It’s not fun as a solo game (and is also quite difficult when playing solo although the grind is really the issue). Online matchmaking with someone is hit or miss. Recommend buying if you have friends who will also be buying. As for the Super Deluxe you get some helpful gear for starting off but nothing crazy. I would recommend the standard version so you can save a few bucks.

This is an awesome follow up to BL2 which was a fantastic shooter. 3 improves in all kinds of ways. Graphics. Story. Environments. Guns. Etc all are better. The super deluxe adds the season pass which I’m pretty sure will add a ton more content to an already huge game. Having a blast playing through BL3 and I’m glad I picked up the super deluxe. Looks amazing on XBOX X.

I've played Borderlands since the first Borderlands was released in Oct 20, 2009 and this game never fails in delivering hours of fun. Borderlands is also one of the best Multiplayer games I've played as well. My girlfriend and I always play together and have a great time defeating bossess, getting tons of loot and leveling up. This game is a little glitchy since it just recently released but I'm assuming there will be an update to fix that soon. Also if you're a new player and don't understand the story too well then I'd recommend playing the first and second game up until Borderlands 3 so you get a better understanding of who certain characters are and the basics about Borderlands in general. All and all I highly recommend this game if you're into story based open world first person shooter games.

Game works well on the Xbox. Some texture pop-in noted but, the game runs smoothly and controls well. Story is subjective but, I am enjoying the game. Each character has unique lines for the story. I've played a couple of characters for a couple of hours each. I've enjoyed the different points of view. Really a fun time with my friends and family via Xbox Live. Guns are good, enemies act a bit smarter than usual, environments are more interactive; maps are more vertical and marked with future goals, and the levels are more focused. All said this game is a general improvement over the mechanics and presentation from 2.

As an enormous fan of the previous two games, I would say this is huge leap forward in terms of gameplay mechanics and an absolute must buy for looter-shooter fans. Currently the game has some performance issues, I have been playing the game on the Xbox One X and have noticed some fairly obnoxious frame rate drops and menu lag, hopefully this is patched out soon. Still doesn't detract from this being one of the most addicting FPS games I have ever played.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Borderlands series and this game might very well be the best of the series. The cast of new characters bring AWESOME new abilities and being able to slide into enemies to knock them up into the air is so much fun. The graphics are even more crisp and the guns are FANTASTIC especially the guns that have dual firing modes or transform into turrets when thrown. Get this game, grab some friends and go cause some mayhem!!!

The gameplay for this game is amazing! Truly fluid and fun. The story on the other hand forces a very “girl-power” feel on the player. This is sad because that’s not what the story is about. A huge letdown for the game‘s name. Gunplay and locations as well as art style are reason enough to play the game. Absolutely excellent. Smooth as butter. Amazing guns. Loved the gameplay, just not the story.

I love this game for what it is. It's another installment of Borderlands. It continues the story from the other two and adds some more baddies and countless guns to choose from. My only gripe from this game is the crashing. While running this game on my Xbox One X my game crashed several times completely restarting my xbox. It's a know issue that I hope they sort out.

This third installment in the series is a complete blast. There has been some changes since the 2nd one but they are hardly noticeable. You can now travel from planet to planet, have several types of customizable vehicles, customizable weapons, and the ability to climb ledges, which is a huge help when finding loot chests.

This story is one of danger, betrayal, and inappropriate behavior. This tale is one of a siren, a soldier, her mec , a robot, its pet and a drunk. They face evil twins, maniacs, soldiers, monsters, and beasts across galaxies. All for what? Loot, and guns.. if you want guns my friend, come see me. ~Marcus~
