The built in filter does an outstanding job filtering any cooking smoke. Cons: I'm 6' 5", I am constantly hitting my head on this thing. My wife keeps telling me not to do that. The built in hood lights don't seem to be LED. The lights could be a bit brighter imo.

There is plenty of light to see what you are cooking. The fan is fantastic. It has three speeds and keeps the air clean around the cooking area. This stove hood is with out a doubt the best unit I have ever purchased.
