It's so quiet, and it even cleaned all the baked-on cheese off from our glass containers. the only reason I'm giving it a 4-star and not a 5-star is that it was an open box and had a fixable broken part that didn't affect the functionality of the dishwasher. I wish I could give it a 4.5-star review.

This dishwasher is so quiet, you can’t even tell it’s on. What a wonderful improvement from what we had.

The Home Connect app is nice to remotely start it and get notifications on your phone when the cycle is complete and ready to be emptied. There is a burning plastic smell the first few times it is used but does go away.

We thought it was the quietest dishwasher ever. We can hardly hear this one going. If not for the light, you would think it was not running. We have had the item now for about a month and it works wonderfully!

Huge disappointment

I had read some reviews mentioning this issue, but I believed that following the common suggestions—using the sanitize function, adding vinegar or baking soda, airing it out, and running multiple washes—would eventually solve the problem. Since the day I bought it, I’ve been running the dishwasher at least twice daily, sometimes even four times, for over a month now, and there is still a smell. Since I have kids, I have to rinse and sanitize the dishes myself after every wash, which defeats the main purpose of owning a dishwasher. I don’t understand why this model has received such high ratings. One of the main reasons I chose it was its supposed reliability and cleaning performance. Reliability remains to be seen, but its cleaning ability is also disappointing. For example, the dish in my attached photo has been washed five times, yet it still has yellow stains (I was able to scrape off easily with just my fingernail). Honestly, it cleans worse than my previous KitchenAid, which not only did a better job but also had stainless steel spray arms. This one is more expensive, yet made of more plastic. Overall, I’m very disappointed.

1. Make sure the dishwasher filter (located at the bottom) is cleaned regularly. To learn how to remove it, refer to your owner's manual. To remove debris, wash it with soap and a soft brush under running water.
2. Make sure there is enough space between items when loading. Ensure that the spray arms can move freely after loading the dishwasher.
3. Add rinse aid. Review your owner's manual to learn how and where to add rinse aid. Rinse aid helps water droplets slide off dishware so water marks can't be seen.
4. Clean your dishwasher's spray arms. Make sure there are no blockages in the holes by running it under water. To remove debris from the holes, use a toothpick.
5. Run a dishwasher cleaner through the dishwasher (Finish dishwasher cleaner, or Glisten Dishwasher Magic can be used).
6. Make sure you are using the appropriate amount of detergent per the instructions.

Use Finish® Jet Dry® rinse aid to help dishes dry faster. *This doesn't have to be added for each cycle, you fill the reservoir then the dishwasher will indicate when the reservoir is empty and needs to be refilled.* 2. For everyday use, we recommend Auto Cycle, which is best for mixed loads of dishes with varying amounts of food soil. 3. Select special drying options like "Sanitize and Extra Dry". Sanitize operates at a higher temperature to help eliminate bacteria and enhance drying results. 4. When unloading clean dishes, pull out lower racks first to avoid dripping water from the upper rack. Very quiet and dishes came out sparkling clean. The reason we decided on the Bosch is the limited water use that goes into our septic system.

And it’s true folks…you only need to scrape your dishes and put them in the dishwasher. No need to rinse. AND it dries everything completely.

The first time I started it I put my ear to the door b/c I didn't think it was working. Dishes are clean and I love the crystal dry feature. The adjustable racks are great, and the third rack has a surprising amount of space and has adjustable components that are really helpful. As much as one can love an appliance, I love this dishwasher.

I wouldn't even know it was running except for when it empties water into the drain. Dishes come out clean and dry. My only complaint is the bottom rack is organized in an odd way and it's sometimes hard to get all the dishes in place. Bot overall, we love this dishwasher.
