Customers admire the 800 Series 24" Top Control Smart Built-In Tub Dishwasher for its quiet operation and exceptional cleaning performance. This dishwasher is the best I’ve ever had. It does an incredible job cleaning the dishes. Some have mentioned a chemical smell and I’ve noticed it too, but I am sure it will go away with time. Replaced a Samsung that was terrible.

The dishwasher is OK. It has some drawbacks. The biggest drawback is the way most of the space on the inside is made for a specific size and shape of dish. The prongs on the bottom rack that are intended for plates are slanted to the side, meaning it can really only hold plates. When I put my large water goblets there, they simply tip over. With half the bottom rack dedicated to plates (with the plates slots spaced too closely together to use for much else) the remaining space is limited. There's a silverware basket there, which I've resorted to removing, to try to make space for more dishes. It's difficult to put in a large frying pan without crowding in on the plates.
The very top rack is for silverware and utensils. It is pushed absolutley up to the top of the interior, so that if you try to set a spatula, carving knife, etc., on its side for proper washing, it is knocked over when you try to pull the door open or closed. Forks and knives that do fit have to be painstakingly layed into the little slits--and again, the slits vary in size so that many things only fit in one particular slit--so good luck if you have more than a couple of a particular item. You could use the silverware basket on the lower rack, but of course then you won't have room for all of your dishes.
I was excited to have the little holder for stemware, (middle rack) until I found that it will only accomodate a very narrow "stem", like would be on a chamagne flute, etc. My water goblets, that we use for everything, did not fit there after all. The goblets also would not even fit standing up, until I lowered the middle rack as far as it would go. This will ultimately interfere with any "tall" things that I want to wash on the bottom. And again, with the middle rack, the majority of the prongs on the rack are slanted, meaning things have to face a certain way, and you have to brace tall items against other things so that they won't just flop over. Very frustrating. Places to stand things properly upright are very limited, and this rack has to be used on it's lowest setting, or it's simply too narrow for many things.
A very problematic thing is that there is no "full" indicator on the rinse-aid dispenser. As near as I can tell, you have to guess as to when it's time to add. And then when you do, the rinse aid simply runs out the cracks of--and out the bottom of-- the dispenser. Is it defective? I don't know. It's been like this since day-one. There is no section of the owner's manual addressing this.
And forget about the "crystal dry" setting. Are the dishes drier than they were with the old washer? Yeah, but there are still water droplets on many dishes and of course puddles inside of all the nooks and crannies where the water can't drain away. Nothing is dry as a bone.
The dishes come out clean enough, but you'll still have to rewash the frying pans and deep kettles as usual. Would I buy it again? Maybe. But first I would look for a dishwasher with straight up-and-down prongs on its racks, (spaced a little farther apart) so that I could put what I want, where I want, without my tall glasses falling over and without the interior space being so cut-up, specialized, and compartmentalized that it severely limits how you load it. In the end, despite having three racks instead of two, this dishwasher holds fewer dishes.

I love how quiet this dishwasher is. I also like the light on the pocket area which tells me it is on, otherwise I wouldn’t know. Adjustable shelves are great. Wine glasses are spotless when done. I haven’t connected to wi-fi yet, but my son also has a Bosch. He states it is great for stating when filter needs cleaned and more jet dry is needed. Highly recommend!!!

After a year of use, I have to say, its a great dishwasher. A little noisier than i expected but still a lot quieter than my previous one. It really cleans everything well, and dries very well. Very satisfied with my purchase,

Good Onsite purchase experience but not follow ups

Actual on-0nsite buying experience was very good. Other follow up areas need improvement: 1. Phone access process to the Sales person is very bad - there wasn't a way to get to the salesman!; 2. Installation had to be rescheduled and this process was very bad - got transferred from department to department, and still didn't get a clear answer. Looks like the process is highly automated and this is not good.

This dishwasher does a great job cleaning, and a better job drying than our previous Bosch 300 did. The adjustability of the racks, and the third rack, provide a lot of options for loading. It's also insanely quiet - I can barely tell it's running.
A few things keep me from giving 5 stars:
- I am not a fan of the touch sensitive controls. Give me real buttons any day.
- The silverware caddy is small, although the ability to put silverware in the top tray helps.
- the collapsible racks on the bottom actually reduce efficiency. Our dishes are too deep to fit with them up, but with them down, we can't fit as many plates.
All in all, though, it's the best dishwasher I've owned. I'd definitely buy it again.

So glad I went with this model! I was torn between a few different brands and models and ultimately ended up with the 800 series. BEST dishwasher I’ve ever used. Dries perfect and runs absolutely silent. 10/10 recommend.

We are still learning the features and the unit has been good and easy to program. It is super quiet and we have to get low to hear it!

The dishwasher part is great. The way they managed to flub how to actually use the machine is disappointing.
Machine washes and dries well, but it is overly reliant on using a phone app. I would not recommend to users who are not adept in technology as they make it way overly complicated for a simple dishwasher.
Delayed Start is ONLY available via the phone app. It is a very poor design by requiring that. The machine only allows you to start it immediately unless you use the phone app.

Thank you for your feedback! Buy —but anywhere other than Best Buy!

Delivery and install was a slow-moving nightmare. Showing up when not scheduled. Not showing up when scheduled. Clamping fill and drain lines in odd ways/places causing dishwasher error codes. Waiting weeks to months for a fix/replacement. Showing up with a damaged unit for replacement.
Fixed it myself and cancelled the next replacement.
The dishwasher itself is lovely—although I don’t use many of the “add-on” features. Bosch’s Crystal Dry “technology” is what sold me on this unit over a 300 or 500 series. And it does dry really really well! Like, I commented on it out loud. To no one. (Well, my dog was nearby. But he’s used to me talking to myself.)
Just don’t buy from Best Buy. They outsource delivery and install —and while each customer service agent (at both the delivery company and Best Buy) was kind and tried to be helpful, the process was messy and frustrating. It took months (over 3 and half months before showing up with a damaged replacement unit) and each call was 40 minutes or more (sometimes up to 90 minutes) with little to show.
If you want a part-time job as a customer service training call “actor,” go with Best Buy.
If you want a dishwasher that works well without feeling like you’re the mark in a prank show, buy this Bosch elsewhere.
Was offered a (small) Best Buy gift card as compensation —and still haven’t received it a month after refusing to further elongate the process/another replacement attempt. Had asked for complimentary geek squad/appliance protection in case the issue wasn’t how they installed it. But no. Just the laughable small gift card that has yet to arrive—via email, btw. (electronic delivery?! Shouldn’t that take, like, 7 minutes to issue? Not 4 weeks?)
I’d return it—but it does work. Just took some line (and filter) adjustments on my end.

Bosch Dishwasher 800 Crystal Dry

The Bocsh 800 with Crystal Dry is fabulous! Ive had a Decor, GE, LG and the Bocsh is by far the best, after approximately six months. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better Dishwasher. My only objection is the small, tiny flatware holder is tiny. I had to purchase a second flatware holder and pay for shipping. That seems unreasonable.

This dishwasher is a dream. It cleans all dishes in all three racks and they come out sparkling clean. Casserole dishes have all the baked on food removed. We wipe off large pieces of food and just place it in the dishwasher and they come out completely clean. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher.
