We have had this dishwasher for a month and 1/2, and we are so impressed with it. It is the quietest dishwasher I have ever (Not) heard. They only thing you do hear is when the water is draining, and that comes from the sink drain, not the machine. We are so pleased with this purchase. We will definitely consider Bosch products when replacing older appliances.

Thus far the Bosch - 800 Series has been amazing! Reading other reviews, I had some reservations about the product. Nevertheless, doing some research, I feel this is the best choice for our house. One negative review sites the dishes being too wet post cycle. This is due to the energy saving regulation, however if one selects the sanitize option, the dishes come out perfectly dry with virtually no water spots. Another concern was size of the load being too small. This has proven to be a non issue for us. The rack adjustability and the utensil rack help a lot in this regard. Lastly, people have complained about the long duration of cycle, but running over the night has been fine. In short, this has been a great purchase. I'm thrilled with the dishwasher thus far. I'm expecting it to last many years and worth the price in the long run. Girlfriend review, "It's perfect!"

We bought this dishwasher to replace another Bosch that was about 20 years old and are very happy with it. It performs very well and is incredibly quiet. It took a bit of getting used to but we really like the third rack at the top, which we use mainly for flatware. As other reviewers (here and elsewhere) have noted, without a heated drying cycle some dishes come out a bit damp, but that was the same with our old Bosch and it's not a big deal. We looked at some other, less expensive, Bosch models at another store after we had already ordered this model and ultimately decided to stick with this one. However, I suspect we would have been quite happy with one of the less pricey models too. It depends on which features you think you want/need and which ones you can live without.

I won't buy anything but Bosch. We just bought a home with a dishwasher that passed the home inspection....yes, it ran. That was about it. It didn't get the dishes clean even if I practically washed them before putting them in there. I had a Bosch in my old house and loved it. This is a newer model and I love it. Quiet and gets the dishes sparkling clean. I love the floor indicator light that lets me know it's on. And the best thing about it is the new top level utensil rack. It is awesome. You just line up your knives, forks and spoons together and when the cycle is done, you simply pull them out together and put them in the drawer. No sorting. Love this and would buy it again.

VERY quiet, and I like the 3rd rack for silverware. It takes more precise placement loading silverware but less time unloading/sorting it afterwards. Low water and electricity and detergent usage. The smell issue is there a little, not really much. We've made a point of opening the door when it's done and that helps. But then, who wants to have a door hanging open in your designer kitchen? Drying issue hasn't been too bad. Only recessed bottoms of cups and around lip tops of plastic containers have water really, though that is also helped by opening the door for awhile when it's done. Goes through rinse-aid kind of quickly, we've kept that on med. setting. We put extra tall cups and trays, etc. on bottom rack and top one still has room for regular tall glasses. Machine holds a lot. As with most, bowls are a little more difficult to figure out how to place if there are several. Cleans well, we've stopped doing our old pre-clean routine, now we mainly just scrape off large deposit and stick them in. We also wash more really dirty pots and baking dishes in it and it works. We check the filter often, that's easy to do. The red "on" light is nice, but some others at this price range also have a green "done" light, which I wish we had. That would remind us to unload it and avoid confusion of sticking some dirty ones in with the clean. My wife said she's found some knives/silver not coming clean, I haven't seen that, but I'm more fastidious with how they're loaded. We do all silver and spatulas, etc., on the 3rd rack. We leave the standing silver holders out completely and use that extra space on bottom rack for dishes. We've had a little bit of an issue with activating the start touch control. You touch it and then close the door to get it started, but no clear way to know if you activated it other than make sure it starts running after you close the door (look for the red light!). Would be better if it had a clear light at that control on top to show you you've activated it. With hindsight, more definitive and easy push button or click controls might be better. Bottom line, if you want low water/elec. usage and QUIET operation, I'd recommend this unit. If doing over again, though, at this price range, I'd go with one that discharges all the water (so no smell issue), has "on" and "done" floor light, and has a heating element so no need to open door to make sure all dries completely or to avoid smell issue. Also clearer controls.

We read a lot of reviews and they were all right. This dishwasher is extremely quiet. In fact it's so quiet that if they hadn't added the red light to reflect on the floor when running, you couldn't tell whether or not it's running. This was very important to us. But more important, this dishwasher really gets the dishes clean. You don' t have to clean them before you put them in. I do however rinse them to make sure big pieces of food are not on the plates before I put them in.

This dish washer is so quiet it is hard to tell if it is running! I mean silence right next to it. The controls are on the top of the door so when it is running the only indication it is on is a red light on the floor in front of it. Cleans well and as I said it is quiet, even the drain cycle is unnoticeable. Installation kit was not needed as water line was more than long enough and an electrical junction box with easy plug-in is included.

Runs super quietly..... you basically do not hear it running at all . The red indicator (a light dot projected on the floor) lets you know its running! Have not experienced any problems with bottom rack coming off the track as seen in some other reviews. Lots of flexibility with the folding tines ..... much better than our previous dishwasher. You do need to take some time to find the best way to stack your items optimally. Originally we were wary of the need for a 3rd rack, however we are impressed with how well the cutlery rack works ... all these items come out super clean and we now no longer use the cutlery baskets, freeing up even more room on the bottom rack. Highly recommend this Bosch dishwasher.

Very happy with this dishwasher! Truly so silent you don't know it's running. It cleans dishes very well and no need to pre wash!! Yeah!! I love this dishwasher!!!

It is so nice to pull dishes out of a dishwasher that don’t feel gritty or still have faint traces of food on them. I’m loving this dishwasher! Quiet beyond belief.

This dishwasher is billed as one of the quietist on the maket and the billing is no exaggeration! Very quiet. And the dishes come out sparkling clean.

Adjustable rack arrangement allows a lot of loading flexibility. The 3rd rack for flatware and other small items is very useful and convenient. It is easy to load and unload and the dishes and glasses are spotless after washing. We cannot hear it while it is running and would not know it was on if it were not for the small red light at the bottom of the door shining on the floor! I am very pleased with this purchase.

I've had this dishwasher for about a month and what an upgrade from my old dishwasher! I love how clean the dishes come out after a cycle. No water marks on the glasses. This machine is very quiet. You can hardly tell it's on except for the visible red LED light. This is a bit higher priced than other dishwashers in the market but you certainly get what you pay for. Worth the investment!

This dishwasher replaces a Samsung. It was terrible: broke frequently and washed badly. Before that we had another Bosch. We bought the Samsung because it was supposed to be very quiet--which it was, but that was the only good thing about it. We are so glad to be rid of it and back to Bosch. It is VERY quiet and washes very well. Strongly recommend Bosch.

We bought this washer to upgrade our old one. When we first had it installed and turned it on, we didn't even know it as running. The light on the bottom was on, so we knew it was. We were also wondering if it would do the heavy cleaning on soiled dishes, it did clean them all very well! If you want the best, buy this Bosch 800 series. You won't regret it.

Any brand that doesn't need to put it's name or logo on it's product, must be pretty confident in their product. Our 3+ year old ($500) Samsung died just before Christmas 2016 and after two weeks of attempting to get an authorized technician (some parts were still on warranty), I gave up and decided to put the potential repair bill towards a new unit. After reading many online and Consumer Reports reviews, we narrowed it down to an $800 LG and Bosch. After seeing the products in person, my wife liked the drawer flexibility and wash options of an upgraded Bosch model and I liked their reputation, so we splurged and went for their $900+ model. We haven't been disappointed, it's as quiet as everyone says and everything comes out sparkling clean. Our glasses had what we thought was a permanent hard water haze and were always spotted, now they look like we just bought them. We also are using the Finish brand of tablets and rinse aid that came with the dishwasher and they probably contribute the results, but we're sold on the combination.

This machine is so quiet, you hardly know it's running. The dishes come out very clean, and I like the extra third rack on top for flat items. I'm very happy with it. I shopped at Best Buy and at Lowe's. Best Buy matched the price quoted by Lowe's, and the service was excellent.

If you are not careful you will forget that this machine is even on. But when the job is done you will be more than a little pleased with the results. And there is a nifty red light that shines on your kitchen floor to let you know that there is a wash cycle in process.

Very Quiet! Washes the dishes clean and looks great

Love the new dishwasher, whisper quiet and does a great job getting everything clean. Also love the amount of dishes it can hold. Would highly highly recommend!
