While this dishwasher is quiet and stylish, it doesn't clean any better than my former $300 dishwasher. I wouldn't say it was worth the $1100 price tag.

This dishwasher is a little pricey, but if it it lasts longer than the disposable appliances generally available, it will be worth it. It works well, so far.

We just recently replaced our builder grade dishwasher that was 11 years old with this dishwasher. I had no idea how noisy the old dishwasher was until I ran this for the first time. Wow! Also, the stacking options within the dishwasher are fantastic, to include the adjustable second shelf and the bonus third shelf. We're looking forward to the continued quietness and efficiency of this new dishwasher for years to come. The Best Buy installation crew were courteous and quick with the installation. All around, great experience!

We LOVE our dishwasher. We thought our last dishwasher was quiet but this is sooo much quieter (even silent), and the red light on the floor is helpful. The only sound we sometimes hear is an occasional draining of water only if we happen to be near it. I did a lot of research and read lots of reviews of many brands before purchasing this one. We have had it for 3 months and have used only the "normal" cycle so far. We haven't needed any other cycle yet. I put in casseroles with baked on rings and dirty silverware with food in the tines of the forks that sat in the dishwasher more than a day just to challenge it. All came out clean again and again. Yes, there is an occasional small amount of water on the bottoms of cups if not put at a slant. To be expected. No big deal. The "vase holder" helps hold up large items so that more dishes fit in. This washer has more flexible basket heights than my earlier one, so it allows for larger plates and more items. The flip tines in all 3 baskets add to the flexibility. The drop down feature of the 3rd rack allows for all kinds of shallow containers. WOW! I don't care to put the silverware in the 3rd rack as I am too lazy to arrange them individually. The silverware basket is much easier. If you choose to use the slotted silverware cover on the basket there is a diagram recommending certain slots for forks, knives and spoons by code. It is not necessary and I would not make the effort to use it. I saved the silverware basket from our old washer before it was hauled off. It is more convenient for me and it fit. The cup shelves are a bit awkward, but add to the flexibility and are great space savers. These shelves are also guides for wine glasses. Be sure the installer adds the clips for glasses etc because I had trouble figuring it out. Our old washer was leaving a foggy coating on the glass and silverware that could not be removed. No problem now. This dishwasher leaves the dishes shining and clean. It got the energy efficiency star which many did not. It uses a lot less water than competitors. There is no odor as other reviewers may have mentioned. There is no heat cycle but it is not necessary as the steam from the washing cycle dries the dishes. Our hot water takes a long time to get to the kitchen but the washer heats it before it cycles. Don't let any negative statements I may have made turn you off. I am extremely critical and find that this dishwasher is as close to being perfect as possible and well worth the money. I even like the basket handles and the click it makes when the door closes.

We've had this unit in operation for over 5 months now and it is so darn quiet that we can have it running and watch TV as normal when sitting right next to it. Everyone asks us what the red light is for that shines on the floor and we tell them the dishwasher is running. They're amazed as to how quiet it is and at first glance don't believe it's really running. Yes, this unit gets the dishes clean and has a very long drain tube for installation. It does not have a heated dry option as stated in the Specs but it does do a fine job with drying the dishes. Use JetDry for extra clean dishes. I'd buy this unit again!

One of the few BOSCH dishwashers that has heated dry (hidden). It is so quiet, I have to check the light. Hope it had some features of benchmark series like interior lighting/time display on floor etc.
CONS: I was used to whirlpools spoon basket and straight racks. It is little difficult to place cups/glasses/huge utensils with tilted mechanism, or arrange spoons on third rack while I could easily dump on the door attached rack in whirlpool. However, benefits outweigh these nuances.

We splurged a little bit to get all the features we wanted from a dishwasher. We are so happy. This is so quiet and I love the little red dot on the floor while it's running. The installation crew (Geek Squad provided) were professional and friendly and on time!

Quietest Dishwasher

We bought this to replace a 3 year old GE diswasher which broke down and was so loud I could hear it on the second floor. This unit is the quietest unit I have ever seen. It is so quiet I could not tell it was on standing next to it. It cleans great. I would recommend spending the extra for this model.

Highly overrated & overpriced. Stick to KitchenAid.
