Bosch produces the best dishwasher, zero issues so far

Soooo quiet-almost too quiet but getting used to it.

This replaced my previous, long lasting Bosch dishwasher. Much the same except for the top/third rack for silverware. This new one is awful. It does not hold the utensils except for in a small area on one side. I had to search for a replacement rack which was like the old one. I think I found it, it has not arrived yet. The lower silverware holders do not fit my flatware, the openings are too small. Overall a big disappointment for a big price.

Love it so much we bought a second one for our second home.

Very quiet and does a fabulous job… Much better than my previous unit. Love the red indicator light when it is running. Install from Best Buy services was great!

Fantastic dishwasher, never thought I’d love a dishwasher like this. Had to get used to arranging dishes with this different setup and third rack, but now I’ve figured out I can likely put twice as much in it as my previous dishwasher. And it’s absolutely quiet, fantastic for my open floorplan.

I bought this dishwasher 4 months ago and bought Total Tech, so Best Buy's Geeksquad installed it. Whenever I try to run the dishwasher it flashes the error message "watertap" and does not run. Best Buy sent a Total Tech repair person and they changed the part they said was defective. After they changed the part, the dishwasher still had the same issue, so Best Buy sent that same repair person a second time. They changed another part, but the problem remained. So Best Buy sent a different Total Tech repair person (third attempt to fix this unit). The second repair person changed the same part, but this time, when the repair on the first part was done, the drain pump blew), and the initial problem ("watertap" error) still remained. So the second repair person had to come a second time (fourth attempt to fix it), and this time when they replaced the initially broken part and the drain pump (third attempt to change the part), the dishwasher still does not work - same error. So now this unit is sitting in my house, and still does not work.

I would have given it a 5 if you didn't have to manually turn it off when it is finished cleaning/drying. The red light blinks until you remember to press the "off" button.

I felt that this was going to be a good machine and it exceeded my expectations. Of the traits that are important to us, silence was up there. In our house, the dishwasher is closer to my lazy-boy than the TV. Silence was important. This one is so quiet that when I start it up, I can't hear it while standing next to it. The only noise I get is when it dumps water down the drain. If I didn't have that... I wouldn't know it was running at all. Fortunately it does have a red light that shines on the floor to let me know it's running.

When our old dishwasher died, I purchased this after researching various options, choosing it for its reliability among other things. Unfortunately, on the very first cycle, it threw an error (E:01, which indicates a power supply problem), and it remains full of water, which is getting smelly with time. We have not been able to get it to work or drain, and we've reset it and checked the usual suspects. Called Bosch support, and they offered to send us a technician in one month's time. I called local shops and found one that can come sooner, but a brand-new appliance should not require repairs on its first use. Given this rough a start, I don't have high hopes for reliability moving forward. I'm very disappointed in my purchase.

I love the Bosch products. I am disappointed that the display goes off during the wash cycle and all you get is a little red light while it is washing. You have to open the door to see how much longer the wash cycle has on it. I do like the fact that it is very quiet. The selection controls for this model are unduly cumbersome. They were not created with the user in mind!!!
