This is a great upgrade over the 500 series I had. I wanted the quietest around so I got this. Then I saw they had a 38 dB like a week afterwards!!!! Ah well. This one is pretty quiet, I have to say. I am sure I am not missing the extra couple of hundred for those extra 2 Db. It was more than the 42 dB, but it was the sweet spot for me. It cleans pretty well and the crystal dry usually does a decent job as long as water doesn't get a chance to collect (like bottoms of bowls for example. I am getting used the 3rd rack, but it does seem to have less headroom on the second rack. I'd buy it again if I had too.

This dishwasher is so quiet, if the light was not on we wouldn't know it was running. The third rack works great for the cereal bowls our grandkids us in the morning. So far, the dishes have been excellently cleaned.

This is our second bosch dishwasher we have owned. I gave our old one to my parents since theirs went out. They love it and said it cleans better than any dishwasher they have had and they have had a bunch. The only complaint I have is if you open door to put something in it during wash you have to hit start button where the old one once you close door it started back up on its own. This is also the quietest dishwasher I have ever heard. You can not hear it running.

It is a great dishwasher! It is very quiet, we forget that it is running and open it up since we can't hear it running, we are getting used to checking for the light. The third rack is great, it fits small bowls that we used to have to put on the middle rack before giving us more room to put dishes. It is very flexible on both the bottom and middle racks.

Washes dishes better than any machine, or human for that matter, has a right to. When the manual says, 'don't bother rinsing' it is not lying. The auto-sense function works flawlessly. And while it is at it, you will not hear it. How does it do it? I have no idea but I suspect it has something to do with the weight of the machine. This thing is, ahem, substantial. (It weighs over a 100 pounds.) The "But" in all of this has to do with the controls. They are EXTREMELY sensitive and take a while to get used to. Also, the operating manual provides no summary or 'quick start' so be prepared to carve out an hour or two before you figure out how to use it. Hint: start on page 38 if you want to actually clean the dishes without learning all the background issues.

Between the sleek design and the multitude of features, this dishwasher is the best! It is the quietist and clearly easy to operate. It’s adjustable racks can adapt to almost any need. Great ratings as well.

Have had the 800 series for 30 days now. Very pleased. Like the adjustable rack height and tines. When using normal/crystaldry modes, everything is very clean and dry, even plastics. Use the JetDry as Bosch recommends. Haven’t tried any other modes yet. And it is so quiet. We will run it any time of day because it is so quiet. Kitchen is semi-open to family room where TV watching occurs. No need to increase TV volume when dishwasher is running.

We ordered this dishwasher after weeks of research to replace our leaking Kitchenaid. We have an open floor plan and the only times we hear this run is when it is draining. The light on the floor is nice, even the teenagers in the house are able to tell when it is running. My husband was very worried that the very top rack would not clean, but was very surprised when the casserole dish we put up there was spotless. The rack system is not intuative, but does make it where this thing holds a lot. The reason for only 4 stars is that you need to play dish jinga often to get top utilization. I would recommend this to anyone.

This my friends is an amazing piece of machinery. Even my dog is jealous he doesn’t get to use it. He can see his reflection in the plates. It doesn’t replace my wife but it’s pretty darn close. Even costs less than her. She’s pretty jealous how much time I spend with the silver bullet. But oh well. I love listening to her purr. Amazing in all aspects of cleaning. I’d shower in it but I’m quite tall.

It's very quiet (not you can't hear it standing next to it quiet but very quiet). Flexible spaces inside. Easy to control. Really clean dishes.

First month impression is that this dishwasher is outstanding. It’s very quiet and cleaned everything we’ve put in it. With three drawers we’ve been running out of dishes before the dishwasher is completely full. Adjustable height second shelf helps with versatility. It has a bit of an unconventional loading layout, particularly on the bottom shelf, takes some getting used to but actually adds greater capacity.

Super quiet, cleans well and very useful rack design. This is an extremely good machine, definitely one of the best.

Virtually Silent. Everything comes out very clean. The adjustable 2nd rack allows large serving platters to be loaded on the bottom rack. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that the door takes some effort to open, the second rack rolls out remarkably free while the bottom rack has some resistance. The inconsistency in effort needed for each of these actions detracts from the overall perception of "Quality". I assume the more we use each of these will help.

This Bosch replaced a 7-year old GE Profile. I installed it myself was pleasantly surprised how much better built this thing is vs the GE. I initially bought another GE Profile, but returned it when after unpacking. It was missing some features of my old one. Thankfully, I ended up buying the Bosch. It's super quiet, has loads or room, and is extremely sturdy.

I've owned the Bosch - 800 series dishwasher for 7 months now and it's a great dishwasher. It takes some time getting used to loading the dishes but it does an awesome job cleaning and drying. The dishwasher is so quiet I can barely hear it running. This was a replacement for a Samsung dishwasher that only cleaned the dishes if I pre-scrubbed them first. I've not had any issues with this one and never had to pre-scrub a dish.

This dishwasher is very impressive. It makes the chore of cleaning the dishes fun. This dishwasher is so quiet you can barely hear it running. Bosch has to put a light that shines on the floor so people will know that the dishwasher is running. The dishes come out clean and completely dry. Even the plastic bowls are dry. Great product.

Bought this dishwasher as this was the quietest available and we are not disappointed. It is so quite that you don’t even know that it is even running. So many options for wash cycle and with crystal dry technology it is energy efficient as well. Go for it if you are looking for low decibel machine and few extra bucks that you can spend.
