This Bosch Dishwasher is incredible! It cleans the dishes, including types of plastic, squeaky clean. In fact, my glasses are losing that “cloudy” look they had gotten from my Kitchen Aid Dishwasher. I have things some things that now appear “new”.

Overall, I am happy with my dishwasher. I've only run a few loads so far, so, I am basing this review on a relatively small subset. Seems to overall clean dishes well. Although I had a pan that fish was broiled in and it didn't come completely clean. Maybe I should have run it on the heavy cycle instead of auto. But, otherwise, it has generally cleaned well. And the Crystal Dry seems to overall dry fairly well, although some plastic still was not completely dry. I have a few minor nitpicks. First, I would have rather saved money and not got the front display. But it was the only version of the Bosch 800 that was in stock when I bought it, and it is out of stock now. Second, instead of displaying the estimated completion time, like, say, "complete at 10:30 AM," I would rather it simply count down the hours and minutes. Say "1:45 remaining" or similar. If the unit loses power, I will need to reset the clock or the estimated completion time will be bogus. Third, the control buttons, you have to hold them one or two seconds when you press them, they do not instantly respond. It makes you think it isn't working for a second or two. Forth, if you open it mid cycle, you need to hit the start button again, it won't auto restart just by closing it, like most other brands of dishwashers. Fifth, Crystal Dry defaults to on for the "Auto" cycle but defaults to off for the "Heavy" cycle. Why? Another nit to pick, but it is standard now on most brands of dishwashers - no prewash detergent bin. Just so you know, dishwashers generally run a "prewash" cycle that is intended to remove the bulk of the heavy residues on the dishes. Then it runs a main wash cycle where it removes the rest of the residues on the dishes. Dishwashers open the main detergent bin when it starts the main wash. But dishwashers used to contain a bin for prewash detergent that was just open and it would dump directly into the dishwasher immediately when closing the door. But since almost everybody uses pods these days, dishwashers stopped coming with a prewash bin. But, dishwashers will still do better if you have some detergent during the prewash. The solution, have some liquid or powdered dishwashing detergent and just approximate 1/2 the size of the main wash bin and dump that directly into the dishwasher. You can still use a pod if you like for the main wash. But adding a relatively small amount of powder or liquid detergent directly in the dishwasher for the prewash improves cleaning performance. Another way to improve cleaning performance is to regularly clean the dishwasher. Between every wash, I fill the detergent bin with citric acid. (Which is all Lemi Shine Booster is.) But do NOT close the detergent door. Then run a rinse cycle. Note that citric acid is, naturally, an acid, while standard dishwasher detergent is a base (alkaline.) So, the citric acid does a good job of removing traces of the main detergent from the dishwasher and seems to keep the filter less scummy. (Note, sometimes you might see on YouTube or elsewhere to mix something like baking soda with citric acid or vinegar. This is a bad recommendation. Using an acid and a base simultaneously cancel each other out. But using one then the other can work well.) I did these tricks with my previous LG dishwasher and they seemed to help, until it died. It wasn't that old. I've had bad luck with LG appliances so I hope Bosch's reliability reputation proves to be earned.

We LOVE our new Bosch dishwasher. We are able to put everything in it and they come out spotless. No rinsing or scrubing beforehand.

Yes, it does cost a lot, as in the most expensive item that Best buy sells, and after you use it for awhile you realize it is worth every penny of it. Our dishes and eating utensil's are the cleanest they have every been. We sanitize every load. And quiet operation; you can stand in front of it and you will Not hear it running.

Very quiet, sometimes it says finished before it begins. The timer must be off because it says it will be finished at 12: 57 whhile in reality it it done hours before thatl It cleans well and drys well.

We bought an American brand dishwasher when we purchased our house and it crapped out after 3 or 4 years. Fixing it would have been just as expensive as buying a replacement so I did a lot of research and purchased about the only Bosch dishwasher that was in stock on my area. I agree that some of the rack configuration is a bit of a mystery but we make due.

Our previous Kenmore Elite was noticeably quieter than this highly touted Bosch. Research after purchase shows the Kenmore had a sound level of 38db. The Bosch runs at 42dc. The biggest issue is the smell. We noticed the rancid smell immediately after the tech installed the unit and ran a test rinse cycle. Calling Best Buy service to come and inspect. Hopefully, they can correct the smell. If not, will be returning unit.

This is a great dishwasher! Quiet, spacious, and easy to use! The display on the front and top (inside) are easy to read. The machine also connects to your phone so you can see when the cycle will end, if you need to add drying liquid, etc.

The dishwasher is fantastic. It is so quiet and cleans and dries really well. Very worth purchasing. Installer was excellent and was very thorough and knowledgeable. Very happy with all.

Very good dishwasher. Very queit. Dont harldy know its on unless your in the kitchen right next to it. Cleans dishes great. The drying is what we bought it for.

Best dishwasher we have ever owned. It cleans and dries very well and it is almost silent, only hear the water going down the drain after cycles.
