I like thag this amp supports so many sources and allows you to power 2 sets of speakers. It’s very compact which makes it easy to find a spot for it in tight setups. It is actively which which is both good and bad. Good in that I dont worry about it getting too warm in a slightly enclosed setup. It seems to almost always keep the fan running on low, even when idling which emits a very faint fan noise all the time. Once its running the fan picks up a little but your music will easily overpower its hum. I do wish they had built in the ability to do A/B speaker switching. As it’s designed it’s all speakers or none.

Great amplifier more than enough power for kitchen ceiling speakers and outdoor patio speakers. Love it have paired with Bose 791, which the amp has a dedicated eq for those speakers. Bose app 4/5 needs work but I mostly used them via airplay 2 or bluetooth. Clean dynamic sound even in low volumes, love listening in to music, even better than zone from most A/V receivers. A little pricey but after having it for several days, decided this a keeper for the long term.

I purchased this from Best Buy and it’s the best purchase I’ve made yet. 125 Watts per channel RMS and 0.1% total harmonic distortion, 20 to 20,000 Hz frequency response. This system sounds excellent. I have two Bose 700 bass modules hooked up to it, and the clips RP 5000 F speakers connected and the system sound is excellent. Since thevBose base modules with the music amplifier takes over most of the bass and subwoofer frequencies, the 5 1/4 inch woofers in the Klipsch mini tower speakers with quality drivers is sufficient. They handle 125 Watts RMS continuous power at 500 watch peak. I did not get the second generation of this model. I got the first generation of the model because it handles more power than the second generation drops down to 100 watts maximum. The Bose system is a smart system which transfers most of the bass to the 700 Base Modules along with the subwoofer functions, allowing the Klipsch speakers to focus more on the upper bass and mid range as well as high frequencies. The same thing happens with my 900 sound bar with the 700 bass modules, the bass is transferred mostly to the bass modules and the sound bar can focus more on upper and bass, mid range and high frequencies. A lot better. this set up as it makes things very efficient and crisp. Also, both systems go very loud with solid strong bass all the way down to 20 hertz. A Bose sound amplifier is extremely powerful and it goes extremely loud. When you connect the 700 subwoofers to it, it is a Monster system. with the bass modules. Therefore, you don’t need to buy high quality speakers with big woofers you can get by with smaller high quality woofers quality offers and high quality twetters that can handle 125 Watts RMS. I got some help on matching up the correct speakers to the amp and the sound is just excellent. I would definitely purchase this amp and the set up I got. What is nice about it if you can hook up turntables, cassette decks, tape decks, any old school items along with that today’s streaming Sirius, XM, radio and listen to hey SiriusXM broadcast. I also played my Apple Music library with high resolution music at 24 bit 192 kHz, vinyl record quality. I noticed the biggest difference in the music is the strong solid bass, excellent midrange with great stereo separation and great treble high frequencies respons. The mid range is outstanding with the speakers. I would highly recommend the Bose music amplifier and include the 700 bass module. Then you can go where you want from there as far as speakers and what do you want to connect to a turntables, other old-school items as well as new school items with the streaming Wi-Fi services. It’s simple design makes it easy to set up an easy to use. The system really rocks.

I'm having a hard time with this thing. Sound is subjective but paired with my Bowers and Wilkins 700 this sounds so wonderful. Many features I like are missing and the connectors on the back are a bit cheap, but so is the product. I do not like that I can't turn it off and I loathe that there's a noisy fan in it, but if you don't mind that I think you should just go right ahead and buy it.

Perfect for a set of speakers for my shop. I now get to easily stream music and they made the speakers sound brand new.
Setup of this and all of the Bose speakers I bought has been finicky at best. Sometimes the speakers won't group, sometimes show as unavailable. But when they work, it's really great.
I do wish there was an option for a physical remote. sometime digging out my phone to adjust the volume is a pain when I'm in the woodshop building and get a phone call or just want to crank it.
Still...worth it!

I bought this Bose Amplifier to upgrade my system, and it is impressive. The sound is superb with great depth and clarity. The best part for me is the connectivity—the Bluetooth tech is so easy to setup and use. Being able to access it from anywhere in the house makes it feel like a true whole-home audio solution. Highly recommended!"

The Bose amp is a strong competitor to the Sonos Amp to power in wall speakers who has been in the market longer. I purchased this to power two of the three in wall speakers and it has worked well. The power to the speakers is much more than I need to create the volume I want however it is nice to know you can turn it up if needed. The amp application is easy to use on the iphone and can simulcast to a wireless bose speaker if you have one.

BOUGHT THIS AMP TO USE WITH MY BOSE 700 SOUND BAR. I COULD GET THE PASSIVE SPEAKER TO WORK AT THIS SAME TIME THE SOUND BAR WAS ON. I COULD GROUP THEM TOGETHER BUT ON SOUND WOULD COME OUT OF THE AMP AND NOT THE SOUND BAR SO I HAD TO RETURN THE AMP.

So far so good. Works well with the turntable I purchased and it sounds good through my Jamo floor speakers. I do find some problems with regards to AirPlay 2 stopping mid stream but it’s not frequent.
