I purchased this for a friend and they advised me that the headphones have a great sound and are very durable. The headphones are easy to travel with and they are not heavy on the ears.

I was somewhat skeptical about these headphones because I feel in many instances Bose is overrated. These however perform extremely well. I hate plane noise, these headphones have changed my flying experience. The only complaint is my wife tells me she cannot hear me when I wear them because I speak too softly, oh well!!!

I used these headphones for overseas travel. They worked flawlessly with great sound quality and noise cancellation. I spent a long period of time inside a C-17 Military Transport and the noise cancellation was very good even inside such loud conditions.

Headphone are good quality and great for airplane use.

Just what I wanted, noise cancelling and comforable

Great comfort and sound with stylish colors!!!!!!!

I bought these because I am a frequent traveler and could no longer stand the airport noise. Constant announcements and screaming kids were driving me nuts. I will say that these are very good quality but they do not block the ambient noise out completely. Having said that, I think they are worth the investment especially if you travel a lot. When I listen to music I feel like I am hearing the song in the way it was meant to be heard. There is a richness and depth that I haven't heard before on regular headphones.

I bought these headphones for my husband, who was looking for comfortable headphones he could wear on plane trips (in-ear earbuds are painful if you lean on them while sleeping!). These headphones are nicely padded both around the ears and in the headband, which makes them very comfortable to wear. They also look great, and the sound quality is excellent. I've borrowed them a few times to use them just for noise canceling, and I've been very impressed. These are excellent to use while studying or test taking - it really helps me concentrate and does a great job at blocking noise. All in all, these seem like great quality headphones and I'm glad to have purchased them!

Great for noise cancelling in airplane, comfortable

I have been travelling on airlines for 15 years for business. I have always considered purchase of noise cancelling headphones. FInally stepped up to the plate and purchased these. Now I'm wondering why I didn't do this years ago. My flights are so queit now!!! Still can interact with flight attendants without removing them.

These sounded so good on the airplane to Poland. I'm so happy I bought the Boise updated head phones Instead of last year's model. They came with a nice case and detachable head phone cord. Comfortable, great sound, superior noise canceling!

A must-have for any traveler/commuter! Block out all the unwanted chatter, train/air/traffic noises, crying, other people's music. I have Beats headphones as well, and I regretted buying them after I tried these out. I liked the Bose headphones so much more, I went ahead and bought them for me and for a friend.

Love these headphones. I got 2 to be able to watch movies on the airplane with my sister. They work great. They also reduce the noise on the airplane. I didnt' reallize how noisy it was until I took them off. I bought these healphones because my brother and sister in law use them all the time when flying on trips.

Great headphones. I recently used on airplane and had no problem hearing my movie. One feature that is an definate improvement from the previous model is that you do not need to turn on the noise cancelling feature to hear your music. You can hear your movie or music just fine without it - but on a plane its nice to have.

Another bose winner. Great noise cancelation and good sound. Fit well and very comfortable. Only drawback is my ears get hot since I use it for a long time.

My husband loves these. He hasn't used for travel yet but he uses them when he mows the lawn. He can't even hear the tractor, all he hears is his music! Good purchase. My nephews wife bought our nephew these also and he does fly a lot so they will really help him on long flights.(I told her how much he liked my husbands)

These are beautiful and work great! It's my first pair, but my husband has had several pairs thru the years and never flies without them. Now I can enjoy my flights more.
