This is my second SoundTouch Wireless Adapter. I have been very happy with my first one, hooked up to Bose SA-4 amplifier and 301 speakers. That is why I have recently purchased the second adapter for our Lifestyle 135 Series II. The system setup was not as straight forward as one would desire. Updating the console with the Bose provided USB stick was a challenge (the stick had to be plugged in multiple times in order for it to work)! Then, the adapter was plugged-in and updated, a lengthy process combined. To my surprise, the USB "setup" cable had to remain plugged in for the system to work (besides the Bose Link cable)! On other systems we have such as the WAVE Radio and the SA-4, the Bose Link connection is the only one needed. I have contacted Bose Support about this "oddity" (and sloppiness). They confirmed that the USB "setup" cable has to remain connected to our LifeStyle 135 II console! Over all, the product works as advertised (despite Bose cable "sloppiness" that may not be a big deal to most people). If you have many SoundTouch devices as we do in the house, this adapter makes a nice addition!!!

This adapter is a neat little gadget that is a must have if you have a Bose home theater system and a smart phone. Once set up, this little system lets you link your wireless computer, smart phone or tablet to your Bose home theater system so that you can listen to your music through your home system without plugging into an auxiliary cord. You do have to download the app to do this, but it is simple and painless. Just don't attempt to have 2 devices going to the system at once or it'll freeze up and you'll have to shut it down and restart it. Great addition to any Bose system!!

I haven't used this function very much, and only got it so that it would be on par with competitive, yet much cheaper products. The world is going wireless and Bose seems to be a bit behind. The sound is awesome though.

Limited use can only stream pandora and I heart radio unless you have a home network set up.

It was easy to set up but I still can't get it to work off playlists in my phone. Works great if you stream it from Pandora or other sites

I love the Soundtouch, very convenient. The only thing I don't like it's that it disconnects often and is s process to reconnect. The update process is very long and frequent.

The Bose SoundTouch was fairly easy to setup & it delivers Bose quality sound throughout my home!

The system was very easy to set up and the sound is amazing.

This is a necessity if you want to stream music from your smartphone or tablet to any Bose home theater systems that did not already come with it. However I had to buy and return 2 of them before finding one that worked. Good luck.

I would not buy this separately. I took it because it was a part of the Sound System bundle, but it is not that straightforward to play music from your tablet or phone via wi-fi.

This Bose system has great quality sound and has excellent surround sound effect with a single Sound Bar and easy to configure.

Got it for free with the Soundbar. Very good addition and provided lot more options for streaming music.

This was so easy. No cords draped around. Sound is fantastic in our large room.

Pros, sound quality is great as long as you have a good wireless network.

Not that impressed, if you have to pay for it, rather get the Bluetooth attachment, since you can play directly from your Bluetooth devices like your phone which you cannot do with this device.

If you looking for an affordable and easy way to stream music to your Bose system, this is what you need. pretty easy set up, works with your current internet provider. you can also add your current music library to the sound touch app.

Setting up to wifi off cell phone was stupid. Even their helpdesk said use a PC... Really??? Not sure if money was well spent by the mrs as a gift for me...,

Good product other than having to have wifi in order to use it.

Using this product I cannot play the music stored in the mobile which is not acceptable. It can only play music using some specified app in Sound Touch App. Soon going to buy Bose Bluetooth Adapter.
