As always, I read the reviews before purchasing this tripod. It is very light weight and can almost fit in the palm of my hand. For the job (simply taking pictures & recording videos of family) I needed it for it was doable. It's been almost a year since purchasing it and it is still in good shape. Honestly the best mini, lightweight, durable tripod you can find for a price such as this. Don't hesitate just buy it. Side Note: Read the measurements and other reviews before purchasing to get the correct length and size.

Bought it for a trip I had cause I wanted all my pics to look professional but I was always running late so only used it like two out of the ten I needed it. Works well I am a satisfied customer.

This is a handy little tripod to have when you don't want to carry the big one. I set it upon the hood of my car to capture some great shots of September's Blood Moon. Provided good stability.

I have always used any object to steady my camera when I am using the self shot mode. I bought this little tri-pod and it eliminates me using my pocket knife, keys or rocks to hold the lens in place to snap a picture. Now, I place the camera on the tri pod press the button and we get perfect family photos.

Great tripod for travel and outdoor adventures. Only use with smaller cameras as this is a smaller tripod. Seems to be built very well and durable.

So not sure what exactly it is meant to be used for. I know you are to put a camera on it however I will assume it is meant for people that are putting a small point and shoot on it. The. Place it on top of something. Just not really sure it meets any of my practical needs.

Good not just as a tripod to set up the small camera for long exposure shots but handy as a handle.

We purchased this to use with an iPad mini. The legs were too thin when extended. I didn't know they extended at first. May work for a shorter height or a lighter phone.

Very cheaply made, broke on first time use but was fixable
