Idea for the occasional panoramic shot

Definitely idea for that occasional panoramic outdoor shot. Not good in low lighting, but with proper adjusting, some shots can come out okay. Otherwise, it does capture a full 180 degrees shot. It was a gift, BUT I tested it before wrapped it. Purely manual settings when taking the shot, so autofocus is no good if you using the Nikon D3200. The hood never got in the way though of my test shot as one of the reviews stated. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and as a gift for my wife to add to her amerture photography hobby.

It does not work well with my ds5500 zoom was limited and does not work with the flash. You have to use it in the manual setting. But for the price a little extra work was worth it. I took amazing photos either way, so I would recommend it.

THIS LENS WORKS GOOD OVERALL. THE LENS DOES NOT USE AUTO FOCUS, SO TAKE TIME TO REVIEW THE MANUAL TO UNDERSTAND HOW TO INSTALL AND USE. I WOULD SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND PURCHASE ONE WITH AUTO FOCUS IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN. THE LENS WORKS WITH MY NIKON D3200 AND D5200.

Pretty good fish eye, been using it for a while,
Low light no so great
Perfect for nature landscapes
And wide angles shots
Focusing is tricky so aways out it on infinity

This purchase was for a gift . My son is an avid shutter bug and I thought this would be a necessary upgrade to his camera arsenal. I have always found Nicon to be an exellent product and hope he will enjoy his birthday present.

This is a Manual Lens, so it really isn't plug and play. On a Nikon you have to be in Manual (M) mode but don't freak if you are spoiled on auto settings. Just do the diligence and see how others are setting up the manual shots with your model camera and in no time you can be getting some great photos.
