These are heavy-duty speaker stands that pair perfectly with the B&W CM5 bookshelf speakers. There are pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate that fit the M6 screw holes in the bottom of the CM5 speakers, making for a secure fit for the speakers. In addition, I filled them with sand as recommended, which also added extra stability and sound dampening. I highly recommend these stands for anyone buying the CM5 speakers.

Great look, would not choose any other speaker stands for B&W speakers they are very sturdy and have some weight to them which you need for the B&W speakers since they are a little wider than most, highly recommended.

I use these with the Bowers & Wilkins 685 bookshelves hooked up to A Marantz PM8004 integrated amp and Marantz CD6004 CD player. Connections are Audioquest Rocket 88 bi-wires and Audioquest Columbia interconnects. The stands really helped finish grounding the bass from the speakers! I have them spiked into carpet and can now feel the bass from a pluck of a stand up bass. The decay of bass guitars is suspended beautifully without ever becoming overwhelmed with reverb. Great stand for a great setup!

Second pair of stands I bought from B&W. These stands look great and also can setup on carpet or tile with included equipment. Took a few minutes per stand to put together.

Solid product looks great, speakers my be 685 doing great on them.used velcrow to secure. Never know with kids must buy

I had very flimsy speaker stands for my B&W not sure why i didn't buy these from the start but now I my B&W speaker sit at perfect height for my rears. strong sturdy stands even with our small dogs running around

I'm very happy with the stands. The one issue I have is that mt B&W speakers just sit on top of the platform. I would prefer some type of mounting options instead of having to use an adhesive "clay" to secure them.

good stand, but the screws that came with it didn't fit my speakers because these stands are "all purpose". If its for all B&W speakers, make all the speakers have uniform screws then.

though the stands were recommended for our (bower and wilkins speakers) did not fit very securely

I am using these speaker stands with the B&W 685 book shelf speakers. I love the speaker stands they are extremely sturdy stylish and made extremely well. There are a couple of down sides that I found but they are minor. 1st is the instructions you would expect to see more of an explanation of the product and why they need to be setup that way, and the 2nd thing is they don't hide the speaker wire but I fixed that and drilled a whole to hide my wire running up the back side. Overall if you would like some well made speaker stands these are a must!

These stands are very well made, aesthetically pleasing, and they are very resistant to tip over. Assembly is simple, and fit and finish is precise. The dual column legs can be filled with sand for sound dampening. I highly recommend these stands.

I bought these stands because I need a little stability when my little grandchildren came over, I looked at many different types and places. These stands are perfect in price, bulid, and presence. I woul not go with any others. These stand fit my B&W 685's great, very low vibration on a hard wood floor, and with the wide base and weight these stand are hard to tilt over, optional center tube to add sand for more stability.

I bought a second pair for my Ascend Sierra-1s (20 lbs a piece). I have another pair for some B&W 685s. These are sturdy stands that are perfect for larger and heavier standmount speakers such as the B&W 685s. They are stylish and match my other B&W products. They come with an array of floor spikes whether they are intended to be installed on carpet or hardwood floors. The top of the stand is wide enough to comfortably support most speakers. The stands can also be filled with sand if needed for even more stability (to prevent toppling by dogs or children). I would recommend Blu Tak between the speaker and the stand as well to prevent sliding (since the speaker simply rests on top of the metal plate). They just raised the price from $100 to $150 recently but they're still a fair value for this price. You won't find a sturdier 24" stand unless you order from Sanus directly.

These are some serious stands. No short cuts taken here. Every thing fit together well. They are heavy even if you dont fill them with sand as suggested.

These stands are great for inexpensive stands. I filled mine with sand and purchased M6 screws to attach my CM5's. I added a layer of rubber between the speaker and the stand and I'm very happy with this stand. I even modified them to add a touch of color and a place to keep my headphones.
