good size and great sound for use in a small home theater environment

Bowers & Wilkins M1 speakers were purchased to add to my collection of other B & W speakers.In my Home Theater Room I now have 2- front CM9 S2, 2- M1 satellites for side , 2- CM5 S2 for rear and 1- HTM71 S2 for center and I'm extremely pleased with my sound. The M1 satellites sound is great !!

These speakers are easy to install and use. Sounds Great

These speakers are very nice looking and sound great, I am using them as rear speakers in my theater, 112" screen. The mounting bracket that mounts them to the wall are a ball mount that is somewhat limited as fare as the swivel angle, only about 30 degrees. i was hoping for 45 degrees. They will not point to the center of the room from the rear corner of the room. i have only had them for about a week now and have only had 3 opportunities to watch a movie with them. Still breaking them in at moderate listing levels. have yet to really crank them up.

I haven't tested their abilities in any other settings except as surround speakers since they are mounted on walls in my home theater. I have B&W 600 series towers in front, 6" in ceiling as presence speakers and an SVS sub. These little guys compliment the system very nicely. No less than what one would expect from B&W.

the sound and integration for the system is amazing, especially with the sub. I love the form factor; however, this was a replacement speaker. I mounted the old one to the wall and the mounting bracket came loose and the pin broke off. That shouldn't happen for any B&W speakers. You pay for the extra quality and service...and mounting a speaker to a wall following the appropriate directions should not break your mount.

I became aware of Bowers & Wilkins in the showroom at Best Buy. They sounded better than all of the other speakers in the room. Once I got pass the cost I understood why they cost more than the other speakers. There are no other speakers that sound as good as these.

These speakers are prefect to add surround in a 5.1 system. I use them with B&W 705 bookshelf speakers and they sound great together.

Sounds really good for such a small speaker....I used included hardware to wall mount mine. I have705s up front and a 700 center .. are they as good as the $2500 705s...not by a long shot, but they are fine for movies where a little surround is called for and I used them for sacd 5.1 playback....maybe I'll upgrade to a 707 for the back someday but for the price you can't beat these.

Great well rounded sound. Integrated wall mounts. They perform great in rear speaker surround sound as well as extended stereo mode. I am using them wireless with Rocketfish wireless speaker kit and they perform great even with the low power transmitter.

Good clear sound. Own many of these exact speakers for a reason. The rest got 5 stars but not this one. I had this oriented as the center speaker do it was horizontal. The weight of the speaker was too much for the stand in this orientation and had a fair amount of play. This was a concern because it was a stress point and created a poor contact. 5 stars in vertical position though or wall mounted with factory mount

This speaker was added to our family room system. It gives great sound and it is clear. We are happy with the purchase. It is also versatile because you can change the position of the actual speaker (horizontal/vertical).

I am impressed at the clarity these speakers produce. I have a sensitive ear for all musical sounds and appreciate that I can hear and identify all of the instruments and other sounds added during each recording. Sounds a bit much? It is!!

We have always been fans of Bowers and Wilkins. The sound quality that comes from these small speakers is amazing. Best Buy has great prices on them and the service plan they offer add real value. Very happy with my purchase and they look great mounted on our wall!

Excellent AV speaker ! I use it as the rear surround sound speaker in my B&W surround sound system in my living room. Speaker is of very high quality and looks great ! Can find any fault in it. Just what I was looking for !

With my old speakers I had trouble hearing dialogue in movies, so I would turn up the volume and all I would hear was loud muddled speech. These speakers are much clearer so I can keep the volume down, understand the dialogue and save my hearing.

Used as our surround speakers in a 5.1 setup. The soundtrack of movies that uses the surround sound great and even gets the dogs confused and staring outside for birds, etc. We know we haven't maxed out the capabilities of these speakers, but I'm sure they'll be up for the job.

Excellent product and great build quality. I use the M1's as surround speakers with the following: B&W cm8 front speakers, B&W center channel, and the B&W asw610 subwoofer. This combination allows for a great great sound. I would purchase again.

I can't believe how good these speakers are. Went to Best Buy thinking I was going to get DefTechs, but I was blown away by the sound in their demo room. Installed at home, these speakers make our home theater sound as good if not better than most theaters.
