Very good teaching movie that what happens in South Central. This movie thought me how some people act and dress to have me watch my surroundings all the time!

A very sad movie showing the difficulties some people have to endure when navigating life with out good parents. This movie showed even when a child has at least good parent, the child can be a success in life. This work for all races and all beliefs.

This movie is a classic. If you like Menace II Society, then this is another addition you must have. It has great messages throughout the movie, and just a good story all around.

An unforgettable film that still resonates with audiences today. It defines the late 1980's and early 1990's and has inspired films such as Menace II Society, South Central along with current ones including Dope and Kicks.

I loved this movie as a kid and I still love it. It's a 2k transfer rather than a true 4k transfer it seems. I love the way John directed this film. Definitely grab it!!

This movie came out when I was in grade school, and some of the issues were present in my home town. This is such a great movie and it would help if more people that do not live in cities watched realistic movies like this one.

But if you don't know! now you know! This is a classic. It should be seen by everyone. I'm not even gonna waste time reviewing it any further. Everyone should know about this movie by now! its worthy of being in your collection!

Old school classic right here. Sad movie a bit but it's very realistic and relative to past and present events in today's society and it's past as well as mentioned. Buy this if you like real drama like movies

This has always been one of the best gangster films ever made! It stars Ice Cube, Cuba Gooding Jr and Morris Chestnut at their finest!! You cannot go wrong with this one!!!

They got me again, with having this movie on VHS, DVD, passed on the blu-ray version but now I have the 4K version, this is definitely a historic movie that I had to have.

I've seen this movie about 2 to 3 times in my life and loved it. I saw this in a best buy store and bought it on the spot. Now i can watch it whenever i want!

If you where part of the Westcoast Classic Hip Hop Era then this a must have for your collection. The Digital Copy is worth the reinvestment alone even though I know you already got that it on SD DVD

If you collect Steelbooks, this film is a must have for your collection. It's cheap, there aren't many steelbooks out there in this genre, and it's nice that this steelbook isn't a summer blockbuster.

The best way to describe this film is what great urban dramatic film making was all about. John Singleton, first time out the gate on this one, was the master storyteller here and showed, from that time period, the ups and downs of growing up in the hood. It was well crafted, and my only complaint after viewing it, is the slight melodrama that takes place towards the end of the film. Aside from that, a masterpiece.

Man, what can I say Boys N The Hood on Blu-ray. This is a classic no matter what format. When it comes to hood gangster movies. It's up there and this movie is $5.99 on Blu-ray!!! And looks really good also.

Flat out, Boyz N the Hood is one of the greatest movies ever made and is by far the best movie to showcase The life of young black men in the inner city's. If your a fan of the movie or even if you've never seen it this is a must buy. The pq was good for a 20 year old movie with a pretty low budget. it's a true masterpiece and if you respect good story, great acting and directing then pick this up.

Classic movie, one to own, showed my 16 year old this movie and she cried for “RICKY”. And now she has a better understands about Senseless violence.

I first saw this movie when it first came out and was impressed then. Now that it has been released in BLU-RAY I finally bought it. This film hedges on Greatness...right along with Citizen Kane and other great films. If you enjoy seeing a masterpiece, then don't hesitate to by this movie...P.S. ICE CUBE should have won an OSCAR for best supporting actor. Shame is; he wasn't even nominated!!!
