This was the worst $30 I have ever spent in my life. I should have just taken the money and threw it in the garbage because that’s what I did with this phone holder. (Unfortunately I threw the box and receipt out right away). I used the vent bracket but first you have to stick the base to the bracket. I should have known that wasn’t going to work. First car ride the base fell off of the bracket. So the sticker was done. So I glued it. Of course that helped it keep it attached. Then I drove some more. Every bump or turn the phone would shift up, down, left and right. I have an iPhone X max and clearly it was too heavy for this holder. The picture shows the holder couldn’t keep the phone upright for more than a mile. I would say It might be strong enough for a 1998 Nokia phone. But that’s about it. This was complete garbage and don’t waste your money. It’s almost like the company did absolutely no testing on the structure of this. Good job, I’ll never buy anything from them again.

Heavy, seems decently constructed. Holds phone well. Turn a corner and it and your phone go flying across the car. Noise is so bad from road vibration callers will complain the sound is unbearable when in this holder. The holder gets so hot in the summer you can’t touch it without seriously getting burned by the chrome while attempting to place your phone in or remove it from the holder. A massive waste of money, I’m back to riding w my phone on my leg or somewhere around the console to be handsfree.

I've been using this phone mount in my car for a couple weeks and I'm very disappointed. I have a Note 9. You would think that with such a wide phone, a mount that uses springs to provide grip would hold your phone pretty tight. Not the case with this mount, any drive longer than 10 minutes causes my phone to fall out of the mount. Very irritating. Also, I got into my car one morning to find the mount had unstuck itself from the INCLUDED air vent mount. Not that it fell off of my air vent, the sticky part that holds it on failed. This is totally NOT worth more than $30.

The holder doesn’t hold the phone up completely and tends to slide down. Also I’ve had to replace the adhesive twice already.

Feels very solid, arm is stable and slides easily compared to others I've tried. Sticky backing didn't work well on console, so I switched to vent holder style. The vent holder itself is excellent, with great grip and stability. Unfortunately, the sticky pad is what holds it together and the 2nd one didn't work any better than the first. Going to try super glue next to make the vent version stay put.

It is a great, elegant style, but doesn’t stay stable enough to support the phone.

The product is good, but it doesn't hold my phone in it's Morphie case very well. The added weight and rounded shape makes it so that the compression arms don't hold it after a few miles. With a standard phone, without the Morphie case, I think it would work well.

I’ve had at least 4 phone holders for my car in the past 2 years and none lasted more than 6 months. I don’t know if it was just the way I applied it to the dash or windshield (or vent) or if it was the holder itself but, none lasted. The BRACKETRON is rockin-it! I drive like a mad woman at times and this thing grips the dash with ease!! The phone doesn’t slip or slide at all... I LOVE this thing!! BTW... I don’t even have a smooth dash board and it’s STILL grippin’ it! Sweet! This company has cracked the code on phone holders...

Bought this for my wife and its the 3rd holder i have bought for her and they all flopped over because she has a iphone 8 plus. My experience has been that its very difficult to find something that works for the PLUS size phones.

Wasn't in love with it...the sticker isn't the strongest, and I cleaned the intended area with alcohol, let it dry and held in place for around 20-30 seconds. Put the phone and it eventually was pushed off. Issue was/is when you want to remove the phone from the bracket, you have to push against the sides which puts pressure on the sticker so eventually you'll just push it off. I didn't return since it was only 15 bucks but could have used it on something else... Don't get these spring based holders, eventually they all just peel from dash

I purchased this on a whim because I was looking for something to hold my phone in my new car. It works; with larges cases it seems to not be tight enough. It works for not; I'll probably switch it out with something better.

This does not hold a large phone, it doesn’t stay in the vent and constantly falls down. I do not recommend at all.

Seems to have a great grip on the phone. I opted to use the vent clip and while it stays secure to the vent it gets very droopy and I have only had minimal luck solving that.

. . The left-side of the holder is supposed to be rigidly connected to the backplane. On the one I received the left-side panel was loose and wobbly. The right side expands to the width of the phone and is supposed to then clamp the phone in place. Again, the one I received barely gripped my iphone and with the slightest jostle the phone began to slip. In short, a piece of rubbish.

Only lasted a week it did not stay in place and broke with phone in it this was very disappointing

Doesn’t hold the iPhone XS MAX and doesn’t stick even after using alcohol pad

I bought this car holder for my IPhone just a month ago and it broke already and I was very dissatisfied.

The item comes in multiple parts. The section that clamps onto the phone is heavy and made of solid construction, but this is partly why it separates by sheer weight from the sticky glue section that is supposed to hold it in place on the car vents. Perhaps a more solid attachment to the dashboard or window would work, but shy away from this if you are planning on using it on your vent.

Had high hopes, but the mount slipped not long after setting it up.

Do not buy this product if you are planning on using the vent attach option. The phone holder is heavy and won't hold the phone up. And mine broke after less than a month of use. The piece that attaches to the phone holder to the vent just broke so that this is now completely useless.
