It's heavy and as soon as I put my cellphone on it, it slides the vent completely closed. Useless for me. Returning.

I highly recommend placing the mount clips into the bottom-most vent bar in your air vents so that it is supported at the bottom, this should make it far more secure. The clamps and adjustments are easy to use and great build quality. Downside was the weight of my device (apple iPhone 12 pro max) was too heavy OR my vents weren't strong enough to keep a stable position. To much movement up and down. If your device is heavy or vent brackets don't keep a good hold I'd recommend the same product with suction mount. clamping mechanism is top notch, but without stability it's worthless.

I would have recommended placing the vent clips in the bottom-most vent bar so that the mount can be supported at its base by the vehicle dash. Clamps onto phone very snug and doesn't slip out no matter how shakey the car ride is. Very reliable and durable product.
