This trimmer is perfect for “basic” use. I trim my 5 o’clock shadow once a week and this works well. Is perfect for Travel. The battery lasts a good amount of time. A “odd” drawback is the newer models do not let you shave while it is being charged. But not a deal breaker. I really like this razor. It is like the third one I have had, and bought one for both my sons’ !

I tend to have to buy a new electric shaver every other year for various reasons, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but still get solid performance. Of course if you spend $100+, you're pretty much guaranteed to get a solid shaver, but I didn't want to shell out that much cash. Yes, yes, you use a shaver everyday so a $100 investment isn't that much... but I just didn't feel like paying that much. So I had a mission to get a shaver around $50 bucks without expecting too much. Another requirement, I've had a goatee since college going on 17 years, so need something to trim the chin without much effort as well. Lucky me, this shaver/trimmer was on sale, and BestBuy also was handing out $10 off coupons for shavers (excluding Norelco/Phillips), so that sealed the deal. So honestly I didn't expect much from this $40 shaver, but it performs SOLID, and as it's a wet/dry shaver, it's easy to wash in the sink/shower as well. I've had some bad experiences with lateral blades (instead of rotational) where the blades snag on your beard (ouch!) if you let it grow out too long, but this badboy seems to handle one day stubble to 3 day growth with the same efficiency. Might be somehow related to the unique mesh design, not sure. Oh and the last great part, it charges in 5 minutes (give or take a min). I always forget to charge my shavers, and I kick myself when I'm in a rush. I was skeptical at first, but in this exact situation, I plugged it in to recharge, went to handle some business in the bathroom, and charging was complete when I came back out. (Sorry, now you know how long it takes for me to handle business in the bathroom) Anyway, great product!

Great little shaver. Works great and last a long time between charges. A very convenient shaver.

If you can still get one I'm getting another one. No matter what you get it won't last as long as you want it to. This one is better than the previous one already so if it lasts a long time or not I won't care the price was way better than any previous model and I won't have to settle for something I don't want or need and pay alot more for no choice. This one is quieter and cuts closer as well.

I've always liked Braun for my shavers. When heads wears out, the shaver usually cuts you. This shaver is the most comfortable one ever. The head seems to be made better. The shaver last a long time from week to week. I do not have a heavy beard. Works great for me.

I got this for my boyfriend & he loves it! The first thing he said after using it was “why have I been using razors all my life”. It cuts real close & smooth. It’s also water proof!

Great Braun trimmer very easy to use and wash. Battery life is great and compact for traveling.

Functional use main purpose was to use it during a shower can’t beat the price and the battery life is good i only charge after the fifth or so usage then I charge it.

My job requires me to be clean shaven and using a razor and shaving cream every morning gets old quickly. Seems to do the job for me.

A simple basic shaver, yet has various attachments for lots of trimming options. I don't use the options, but the shaver is sturdy and gives a thorough and efficient shave. The charge lasts a long time before needing a recharge. Would be better if had extra screens for future replacement.

My boyfriends loves this he actually said I can’t believe I’ve been shaving with a razor for so long. This can be used wet or dry. It has very close cut for an electric razor. The only thing is if your hair is to long it doesn’t really cut very good, but I think any electric razor is that way.

Has exceeded expectations great product, fantastic battery life

After 25 years, my 100 series shaver motor died and can't be replaced. So this single foil shaver is the replacement. Similar to the 100 in many ways, is augments the job of my heavier two-sided shaver. This helps cut the beard shorter. On the positive side: The Cruzer does not heat up the face like the old 100 model routinely did. My only concern was the foil screen did flip out of the housing - perhaps owing to the pressure I was applying with the shaver against my face.
