This was a waste of my time and money! stay away and call a cab!

This products helps in preventing drinking and driving.

Readings are not reliable. Having to wait 20 minutes also is not realistic.

Every time you open the app it needs to calibrate. Did not work at times.

I was excited about the product. We pulled it out and set it up. Proud of my new toy I touted it to the guys that were, like me, being held hostage at this wedding shower. Now we were jettisoned from "how did you guys meet" to I bet I can predict my BAC. The guys were resuscitated and had a reason to live again. However, the lack of consistency of the product quickly mutated our escape back to a harsh reminder of our doomed situation. Needless to say I have never picked up the product again and have never been invited to hang out with any of those disappointed guest. I recommend just buying a book of jokes and a cab.

not compatible with Iphone6 or iPhone 5 I had to take the cover off to try it which was very inconvenient only to find it didn't work anyway.

it worked for a while then stopped, only worked with my apple phone, not android.

Works great and very fun. You can set up guest profiles for your friends. Great fun at parties!

I like to drink. I mean, I like enjoying a beer after work. I'm a healthy person, but still, I like to drink. anyway, I bought this thing because I just don't want to leave home, or the bar, or a friend's house in a inconvenient state. My idea of having it is to *confirm* I'm Ok to drive to my house after having a few beers, I don't want it to confirm I'm drunk, I want it to confirm I'm already sober.. This thing NEVER works. You need to keep blowing on it and It won't show you any result. The device itself feels low quality, the plug to the iPhone's 3.2mm is loose. Sometimes you have to repeat the test up to 10 times, and every time, the device asks me to "calibrate" for 40 seconds. Also, When you repeat the test, most of the times the device says "Test failed" and that's it. Also, after 4 or five failed tests you get a message saying the battery is low, but you never know how long to wait for the device to recharge, and, who needs to wait for the battery to charge ?. This thing doesn't work. Spend a little more and get something better. This thing doesn't work.

I love the breathometer! It is small and easy to take around. I always put it in my purse before I go out and make sure I can drive home. I am going to buy this for my friends for their graduation gifts to make sure everyone drink and drive responsibly. Seriously, such a great device... I can't believe I didn't get one earlier!

I just got my Breathometer device and it is great! You have to read the instructions before using it though. I have watched how taking a sip right before I do a test will spike my results, but if I wait the 20mins before a test, the results are great. It seems that a lot of breathalyzers ask the same thing. Pros: Very affordable price Easy to use Can use on my mobile and also get a cab! Updates/new mobile features on the way (according to what the company said) Cons: Can't think of any! Overall: THis is a great product for mature users who can read directions. ha. I know that this is a great device for any consumer who drinks. I am going to get a couple of these for my family members.

I drive for my career and I was always concerned not knowing if I was over the legal limit as a DUI would cost me my job. Waiting the 20 minutes gives a very accurate measure of my BAC. It's been interesting what I drink and in what timeframe and the effects; I feel it's has made me a more responsible drinker. It's VERY easy to use, the APP even tells what estimated time I would return to .00. I carry two iPhones and do not have any issues with cases interfering as another review stated as it plugs in right next to where your charger connects. I'm very happy with my purchase and recommended it.

Thought I was buying a device that could be used to determine BAC content to ensure I never drive with an elevated level. The first problem is the device connects to your phone via the headphone jack which will require you to remove any bumper or case you have installed for it to work. The next weak point is that you must blow 1 inch away from the device to get an "accurate" reading according to the instructions, it is very difficult to determine how close you are using this. If you are closer you will get drastically different results. I also tried after just taking 2 drinks of a beer and it registers 0.20 (in fairness the instructions say to wait 20 minutes after a drink). In summary this is good for a party tool but would not put any stock in it to determine if you should drive, using your common sense is a much better option.

Picked up the breathometer because the price was attractive. Opening the device it felt like something made with no standards for quality. It's almost a feather as it has no weight to it. Regardless I blew into it with alcohol and it read 0.00! I tried multiple times to get a reading and the software always read zero. I ended up returning it to best buy.

This Product sounds cool but doesnt work at all. No matter what device i put tried to put it on it just didnt work. The app is not compatible with any device i had and i read similiar reviews on other websites about how it didnt work after an update. CHECK THE APP FIRST before you buy. Make sure it will work.
