Some quirks

Overall it is a good espresso machine. Espresso comes out tasting nice and smooth. It's very reliable on reaching good temperatures for milk frothing. I like the auto feed and grind function for the beans themselves.
However, there are definitely some quirks that can be annoying. The milk frother does not align properly with the hole that it is supposed to self clean into. I have to hold on to the finger loop every single time it does a purge or else it makes a mess. There is a tool tray underneath and behind the water catcher underneath the machine and it occasionally fills up with water. I have yet to figure out the mystery on that one. Lastly, there must be a programming issue because, very rarely but on occasion, when I turn on the power button the power button lights up and the beep that says machine is turning on emits but does not stop. No lights on the touch screen, just a screaming machine.
Overall, it is a good machine but these quirks do annoy me as I did expect better from this price.

Great machine for espresso shots and Americano’s ! The Latte’s are really good too and the touch screen is so easy to use ! Absolutely love my coffee and wanted to be able to buy my own beans !

Waited a while to buy one of these espresso makers and boy did it not disappoint. Everything Breville makes is top notch and this is no exception. The touch screen makes this easy to use.

Such a pleasure to have restaurant quality coffee at home! Easy to use and delicious down to the last drop. The frothy milk is fluffy and perfect every time. Better than expected!

We just got this machine at work, and wow! This is an excellent piece of machinery. Simple to use, and makes a great cup of coffee every time. I used a local chain’s coffee bean to make a latte and it tasted like the downtown shops.

This is our first espresso machine and we love it. Took a few weeks to dial-in the proper settings but now that we have, we are making latte's that taste much better from the local coffee shops!

Has many options for controlling and takes some iterations to get optimal setting. Very easy to use. This machine replaced a Barista Express that died after about 8 years of great service.

I love this machine. Cant live without it now. Touch screen with step by step instructions on how to make your favorites. Custom additions also, great value.

Makes a good cup of coffee wife wanted it, was skeptical at first. Little pricey and has a learning curve but it’s actually pretty fast and efficient once you get it figured out
