The best microwave ever!! We have purchased many brands over 45v years, but nothing compares to this compact, easy to use, finely made microwave!! It has a handle on the door, locked unril button pushed to open for safety, Knob to set any amount of time. No numerous unnecessary progarams. Simple and substancial!

The perfect compact microwave for my needs ( re-heating and defrosting) Roomy enough for a dinner plate and smaller casserole dishes. Very easy to use. The dial makes it simple to set time. Easy to read buttons. Simple function buttons. The soft close door and ability to turn off the buzzer is a big plus. Attractive and clean design. All of my Breville small appliances have been excellent.

We love it. It’s nice and quiet while running. Love the quiet door closing and that you can mute the beeping noise. The brushed finish is attractive as well. It’s fits a full size dinner plate and heats the food evenly. Used the defrost function and it worked very well. We’ve never bought this brand before so we’re hoping it will last for many years to come.

I purchased this brand that replaced our GE microwave that only lasted 11 months. We've had it 4 weeks, and I like it much better. The door is much quieter opening and shutting, and also easier to open and close. The look is also more sleek with the brushed finish, and it's a little smaller than our older one but has a more modern look. The controls are easier to use, as well as the buttons are easier to push. So far, I am very happy with Breville.

Much better than the bigger model. Higher wattage and lower amps means it's more efficient! For me, I was tripping the breaker with the bigger one. And this actually pops popcorn much faster! If you have a shared circuit, def get this model.

GREAT little Microwave. We bought it to replace a 1,000 watt over the stove hood microwave to move to a full hood. It does a great job! Heats evenly the only difference is the small size. But since we rarely use it for large items it works out perfectly. the small size is also a blessing as it fits anywhere! The soft close is once compared to the loud push button opening of other small microwaves. Finally, the icing on the cake is the wonderful MUTE button that silences the beeping so those early-morning coffees and late-night snacks won't wake up the house.

Nice clean-looking microwave for countertop. Soft closing door is a nice feature, but the controls separate this unit from other models. I use the 30-second buttons for about half of my use. The large wheel easily dials in all other cooking times. I have had several other brands and this Is my favorite. My prior unit was the same except for not having a child lock on the door. I wish I could permanently disable the child lock since we have no children in the house. The prior unit died in about 2 years, but I repurchased the same model.

Great microwave!!! Not to big and not to small, perfect for my kitchen counter. It’s powerful for its size and super easy to use, love the soft close door feature.

I wanted a microwave small enough to fit in a tight space on my counter, but still powerful enough to meet expectations. This model is easy to use...I love the dial to set the time...and it is good quality.

Nice compact size and easy controls. Does a good job warming and everything that a microwave should do. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a premium microwave in a small package. BACKGROUND First, I love Breville appliances, I have 6 between work and home. When we remodeled my son’s kitchenette our large Breville Microwave would not fit in the assigned spot so we used an old college dorm microwave as a placeholder. Then this little guy came along and we could not be happier. It is about the same exterior dimensions as our cheap dorm microwave, but somehow there seems to be much more room on the inside. It is a perfect match for our mini Breville toaster oven. MY UTILIZATION I have to confess, we are not big microwave cookers. We use it daily for softening butter, ice cream, etc. My son that lives with us has minor impairment, and he was able to figure it out on the first try to heat up microwave mac and cheese. UNBOXING: INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: Very well packaged, a little hard to get out of the box, but that is normal so no dings there. There was a giant “SPARK” when we plugged it in that was a little concerning, but all seems fine. PERFORMANCE: Plenty of power for all attempted tasks. I would even go as far as saying it is faster and more powerful than our built in microwave (from another mfg) that came with our kitchen package. EASE OF USE: Here is how I use a microwave. I put something in, press start. If I need more time I press Start again. If this is how you use a microwave then you are all set. It does allow you to select different food types, and this is my only minor complaint. I’m so used to Breville being more intuitive. To select a Food Type, I only have options like F1,F2,F3, and they “key” to these codes is on the inside of the door, instead of the LCD display. Personally I would have liked to see more sophisticated settings on the LCD like on its big brother. SUMMARY: Big inside space, small outside space, plenty of power, and minor complexity for advanced cooking.

WOW!!!! I needed to get something smaller in a microwave that would be easy to operate and use and be on the counter instead over a range or stove top. I love my gas stove but was concerned about having anything over the top of it. I already owned a toaster oven made by this company for several years and I love it so I purchased this microwave knowing how much I enjoyed the size and the use of the toaster oven. The one I owned took up so much of my counter space and this one is just what I needed because now I have more options where to put it on my counter and it does several things instead of just being a microwave and so easy to understand what to do.

Quick, efficient, thorough heat throughout the food, and the soft close door is truly a soft close. Best Buy had the best price I could find online and shipped it quickly.

I had researched several brands but was squeamish when I saw reviews about microwaves that just stopped working, fires, burnt insides etc. The best features of this Breville is that the design is totally and refreshingly different. First off I can fit a full size dinner plate inside. The door shuts quietly you don't have to slam it. There is a mute button to silence the bells. The front panel has large buttons so you don't need glasses to operate. The number panel is eliminated you can press the 30 second button and cancel with the stop button which are easy to touch. This is the best microwave for people with nimble figures and shortcomings of vision.!!!! I cannot see why someone without these issues would also enjoy it's ease of use. BUY THIS MICROWAVE

The Breville CompactWave Soft Close Microwave is simply one of the best (if not the best) microwaves out there. We love the soft-close feature of the door. No more slamming and loud noise. The way it heats the food is also innovative as it seems to vary the heating power which prevents the food from overcooking. The modern-looking design is pleasing to see, evoking a sense of high quality. We're hoping this would last a long time, as the microwave it replaced was already 4 years old and it's still doing okay.

This is an easy-to-use unit. It takes a bit to adjust to a lower wattage. That being said, the end product is good.

Another fantastic product from Breville. We have the convection oven and love it. So when the door button started to go on our current microwave, I checked to see what Breville had. Really like the door that opens without a button and that I can adjust the time with the dial. My last microwave wouldn’t let you add 15 seconds. My steamer fits, as does my bacon tray. The quick buttons are easy to use.

Good size and great quality Im a manager of several facilities at our plant in Palm Bay. We only use this brand and model as it holds up and is easy to clean store and warms your food up the right way.

Sorry couldn't hold back. But it really is a nice microwave. Pretty quiet. Easy to use controls and the Dial is the Bomb. I also like the easy closing no slam door. Didn't feel like I had to relean how to use a Microwave like I did with the last one. Has great power heats and reheats quickly and not under powered like my last one, which broke after a year or so. The last ones controls just wore out, I think this one will be around a while.

Big transition for us as we previously had an above stove microwave which was twice the size. Love the ease of use, love the features, very quite and soft close door is amazing.
