It died Dec. 6, 2022, It blew the circuit breaker 3 times in a row, when I touched start. Then the last time that I reset the breaker, I opened the door and poof. It died. 2 years and 9 months. It seems to be the average life span of microwaves, if you read all the reviews. This certainly isn't my first, second or third and probably not my last. So should I buy the same one, which is in the higher price range or a cheaper one, knowing that it will probably need to be replaced before a decent time. What happened to quality?

Five months later it is leaving cold spots in the microwaved food. The same food products I have always been using. When I called Breville’s customer service, they suggested I heat a cup of water - and when that was warm, they said the problem was fixed. I explained the problem again. They suggested I unplug the microwave, let it sit a while, then try using it again - calling them back if it didn’t work. It didn’t work. . . I called them back about 1/2 hr ago and was required to receive a callback. So far - no call back. I would like them to repair the microwave for free, replace it or refund my money - with a refund preferable. I’ll update this, if there is any resolution.
