However, I did't open to test since my old one lasted more than 6 month. I was very surpriced how it traps the moisture in the MO. The store warrenty expired by the time we contact the BestBuy. It's flooding at 4 minutes off cooking a stalk of corn.

Have been a fan of Breville for many years now. Have purchased their toaster oven, espresso maker, and coffee grinder, and have been very satisfied with all of them So I decided to upgrade my cheap microwave to one of theirs and I'm happy to do so!

Everything is working as intended. If anything changes, I’ll let you know. That said, it’s pricy, but I can think you can justify the price.

It had very light use mostly for popcorn and minimal reheating Three years after purchase (purchased 11/2022), the latch on the door broke off and it shorted. It tripped the electrical breakers. We plugged it into a different outlet and it ruined another appliance we had plugged in the same outlet and tripped the breaker again. Sad to have to replace!!

But unfortunately, it did not hold up very well because after a year (almost two years), it began to break little by little and it did not heat up as much. SO that is why i gave it three stars :/ . i really wanted to love it. I will see if they can replace it !

Functional and snice design

But very surprising that for the price point it lacks a kitchen timer. That has always been a necessity for microwaves in my kitchen, it's very strange that is not included. But otherwise, we are happy.

I have teenage children that get up in middle of the night to eat and with the quiet close and muted beeping sounds, I don’t get woken up in the middle of the night anymore from teens microwaving food and snacks!

The door is soft close which teaches young users not to slam the door. It’s a great microwave. I’m thinking about buying the bigger version as well.
