It looks super cheap, like a plastic toy, probably because the exterior is not true stainless steel. I bought this for the quiet close (and it was quieter than most), but it just cheapened the feel of my kitchen. Not worth the higher price tag.

I mean not a light, nothing, as if it was unplugged, and yet it was plugged! Best Buy said they couldn’t do anything because it was outside of their 14 days return window. Breville was a nightmare to get in touch with, but once I did reach them, the asked me to send back the oven (at their cost) and sent a new one. Hopefully it doesn’t break again.

We needed to find him a microwave that had traditional buttons and dials he could use. This one fits the bill, looks nice, and works great.

I chose Breville because I believed it was a reliable brand and expected the microwave to last for many years. Unfortunately, after less than two years of normal use, it completely stopped working for no apparent reason. I’m very disappointed in the quality and expected better durability for the price.

Not a sturdy microwave.

Less than 1 year later, one of the two hooks that close the door broke off after it would not close anymore. Also, frustrating is the knob wherein you have to choose in increments of 5 seconds when choosing a time over 20 seconds. Also, the turntable plate likes to come off often.
