This film deals with espionage between East Germany, and the United States, in the late 50’s. It begins with the trial of a spy from East Germany, and eventually results in an attempt for a prisoner exchange between the two countries. It’s a bit slow, and calm, but very interesting.

Take your self back to a time when people actually interacted with each other. No "E-mail", No "Tweet's", No "Cell Phones". Back when you had to look someone in the eye and lie to them. When negotiation's were done with adversaries, who had the same goals on either side (to win). The art of thought, of speaking "with" not speaking "at" someone. Oh yeah, there is all of that clandestine stuff too. Popcorn, a drink, and you can get lost in this much simpler time. Enjoy.

Historical, spy movie. This drama shows that sometimes a large organization can overthink problems. Sometimes all you need is an outsider with a different perspective to get the job done. Tom Hanks presents this story well.

Fantastic movie! I enjoy a great-paced drama, with focus on characters and their predicaments. This was a great buy and with a digital copy, for the price at 5.99, it’s a great deal!

I love Spielberg. Well I'll say I love old or vintage Spielberg and have been meh about his new films. Bridge of Spies is a good mix of his old movies and his new. He crafts a great thriller and with Tom Hanks in the lead this incredible true story is in good hands. Mark Rylance was amazing as well and sort of steals the picture from Hanks. Highly recommended.

As has been in many of his more recent starring roles (The Post, Sully, Captain Phillips, etc.) Tom Hanks is very believable as a lawyer chosen by the U.S. government to negotiate a solution to a diplomatic crisis in post-WWII East Germany. Steven Spielberg crafted a taut screenplay about a man who must make the best of a situation that he did not create.

One of Hank's best movies and an all-star cast to support him. Digital copy makes it easier to watch on many devices without scratching it. Historically this movie is very accurate.

Excellent movie if you like suspense. Better for adults or older teens. Interesting that it is based on a true story. Has overall great reviews as well.

The soundtrack is surprising active for a dramatic title, giving a boost at appropriate moments. The picture couldn't be better.

This movie was a lot better then i thought it would be,im a fan of tom Hanks and this movie is no different. The the movie was made after was a true hero and balls of steel. after movie look at all of his negotiating skills and tactics he did quite a number in Cuba. My only down side was it was offered in 4k format becuse i love 4k movies

Very suspenseful and well acted. Video and audio are adequate. Tom Hanks is good as usual.

This is another great movie with Tom Hanks. Very informative, based on true events. I hadn’t realized his character had such an influence on American history until watching this. Highly recommend.
