I was very concerned about this installation - replacing a KithchenAid built-in refrig with a Dacor Built-in refrig. The workers were punctual, professional and efficient. The new fridge fits perfectly and did not damage the hardwood floors. Great Job.

We were very frustrated with Best Buy installers! These guys are at best "sloppy movers," not proficient installers. When one pays $300 for installation and $60 for haul away of an old fridge, one expects professional service.
Best Buy installers came over twice and left in a rush without doing the job! The first time they said that they cannot get the old fridge out, so they left. The 2nd time, they said the width of the opening should be 1/4" more and left again!
I got the old fridge out myself, and I'm small person and not a fitness buff by any means. And the width of the opening was actually perfectly correct for the new built-in LG fridge. Still, to avoid further excuses, I trimmed one side of the opening by nearly 1/2" . Finally, on the 3rd visit, with the old fridge already removed and the width of the cabinet widened they installed the new fridge.
For built-in fridges, I strongly advice that you go with a 3rd party professional appliance installation outfit. Do NOT use Best Buy installers.

Purchased refrigerator 4/26. Was advised that install could not be done until 5/18. Delivery driver and assistant show up on 5/18 saying that they will just do delivery and not install. Took 2 extra days to get install team to do the installation of this built in refrigerator. They did a great job, just 2 days after promised date.

The two gentlemen who worked on replacing my dented Freezer door did AMAZING.. only question they forgot to put on the bottom frame plate (I should be able to figure it out).

I couldn't have asked for any better service. Four men arrived on time to install the new refrigerator. It weighed 565 lbs. The old unit weighed 750 lbs. They made it look easy. My kitchen has a high gloss wooden floor and they had to navigate several wooden steps to get out of the house. The installation was perfect. We love the new refrigerator. It has many features the old one didn't have. We are pleased with the whole experience from the salesperson all the way through to the installers. Thanks Best Buy we couldn't be happier.

Best Buy recommended I return this refrigerator after it failed several times over a 2 week period. It was working fine, but we worried it would fail unexpectedly. I can’t imagine any other retailer would allow such a return. Hats off to Best But.

The refrigerator is fantastic! We love everything about it. I would highly recommend this unit. Specifically, the way both the refrigerator and freezer are laid out is great. The feature that you can lay bottles down is a big space saver. However, I have to say it was a nightmare getting it installed. One star for installation. It took five attempts to get it put in. We had some very insolent delivery people but finally (on the fifth try) had some super nice guys. Just a heads-up that some of Best Buy’s delivery people are not the best.

After some prior mishaps with missing parts, our installation went as smoothly as it possibly could. Our compliments go out to Yorlyn and his install assistant. He was courteous, professional and showed great attention to detail. He ensured the areas was clean and tidy, cleaned the area as well as the appliance itself thoroughly after installation. I couldn't have asked for a better install of a very complex column refrigerator.

I bought a new fridge from Best Buy, and have added service to haul away my old fridge which was a built-in. The new fridge arrived on time, but the crew could not haul away my old fridge as it was a built-in which is too heavy for them, and that crew did not have the right tools to do that. Best buy customer service rescheduled my service to a few days later, but did not send the right crew. The crew arrived, took a look at my fridge and refused to haul away as it was too heavy. The same thing happened four times, then finally a right crew came to haul away the built-in fridge. The right crew were very professional though. But the customer service charged me additional fee for the haul away service which I have already paid upfront. They credited it back to me only after I complained. The customer service is totally chaotic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Steve and Crew from Best Buy’s installation partner were outstanding. Careful and thorough in moving a 700 lb built in Monogram Refrigerator into our house. Installed the unit and showed amazing knowledge of the refrigerator explaining all features and helpful hints.

Almost everything that went wrong did: the delivery team delivered it to our garage is sub-zero temps because the outlet wasn't right (this wasn't on their checklist), then it was installed and the Fridge doors wouldn't open, multiple people came out and/or told us they were coming out and cancelled, no one knew how to fix it, no one could ever give us updates on what was happening, they finally brought a fridge to replace it and it was so junky that the delivery guys refused to install it (thank god). After all that, we were promised compensation and I was even given a tracking number for compensation, and I've been transferred to 6+ different people and no one knows what I'm talking about. This was an insanely frustrating experience where I probably spent 7 hours on the phone with their customer service (and my husband another 7), and I will never ever buy from Best Buy again.
That being said, I want to recognize the three people who actually helped us throughout the process: the Best Buy store associate Joe, and the last group of repair agents, Jose M. and Jose H. Thank you so much!

After 2 delivery’s & ice would not drop down Dacor sent a service repairman . I found out delivery did not tell me there was a plastic piece on the door which you had to remove in order for ice maker to function. I should have been informed. I am a shorter woman & the instructions piece was above my eye level. Instruction book did not clarify either.

I thought things went well as far as the work itself however the process took much longer ( 7 weeks ) . The fault was not all Best Buy’s fault but the response time to return was bad . I am still waiting on a replacement peace . I do feel Best Buy owe’s me something.

1st installers would not remove old built in refrigerator nor install the new refrigerator until we hired a plumber for a 5 minute job of disconnecting the water line. However, we were Extremely Satisfied with the 2nd Best Buy Installers of our new Dacor Built-in Refrigerator, especially considering they had only a 3-4 inch space around the kitchen island.
