Not worth the money

Purchased this 1.5 yrs ago 1- doesn’t cook evenly in oven. 2- burners when turned to low/simmer click non stop as if trying to ignite. 3- this is the newest issue...oven will not ignite to heat. This range replaced an extremely old whirlpool that was in the home when I purchased and worked perfectly to the moment we removed it. Do not buy this.

Verify that the burner knob was first turned to the Lite position. Only after a flame is visible around the burner should the knob be turned to the desired cooking setting. Make sure the burner cap is on the correct burner. Your range may have one or more burners of different sizes. A medium burner cap will not work properly on a small burner, for example. Check to see if there is power to the range or cooktop at the plug or home's circuit breaker or fuse box. If the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. I agree with another reviewer in that items don't cook evenly in the oven. Also, the burners are either boiling or simmering, there is no medium/medium hight. I had this installed in October 2019 and the gas stopped working in the oven about a month ago. How can something that is so expensive last less than 1.5 years. I know the customer service will tell me to check my gas connection and fuses. Done. It's too soon to need to have a repairperson come out...never had to do this in my lifetime.

Shelves are easy to move and adjust. Very easy to use. I like the easy to move grates and that the top of range around burners is not stainless steel.

So far, so good. The oven is spacious and I really like the oven rack engineering. They operate smoothly and have stops, which feel safe when moving them The knobs light up when in use. That feels safer, too. My Mom is 96. The grates are heavy duty and it's easy to move pots and pans around on them. I'd buy this again,

Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Poorly designed feature.

For example a feature for cooking during Sabbath. A Jewish holiday when cooking, baking and kindling of a fire are prohibited by Jewish law.

There is plenty of room for cooking an entire meal at once. Both the burners and the oven are very spacious. I also like having the option of the convection oven. I opted for the all gas version, which I like much better than electric, but I'm not sure if that will be an option for much longer. Either way, I'm very happy with the overall performance of this appliance.

I saw this on display and just had to have it for my newly built coach house. It’s a studio so it’s visible from everywhere with the bathroom being the exception. Can’t wait till I get to use it. I have a few more things to do before moving in and I can’t wait.

Failed in 2 years!

Now the ignitor for the oven keeps failing and GE claims there's nothing they can do b/c it's out of warranty. A $6K stove should not fail after 2 years. This is insane. The oven only gets used twice a week! Very disappointed in GE. Awaiting my technician this week to see how much it's going to cost me to repair again. :(
