    Arrived looking like someone took a baseball bat to it. We were doing renovations so we just opened the box - which appeared fine. Which would seem to imply it was boxed up in this condition…

    Great Micro but Not Very Smart!

    I was skittish about purchasing this unit, as the reviews have been less than stellar. Although most complaints are about Best Buy shipping, damage and install issues. But this unit's specs worked for me and I'm big on Smart products, so fingers crossed. The basic micro has a sleek modern look and plenty of features. No issues there so far after 1 month, although haven't used convection much-15 minute 400 degree warm up time seemed a bit slow. I would agree with some that a back light to the buttons would be a plus for this tier model. In a bright kitchen no problem, but midnight snack in dim light? better have the buttons memorized. The real issue is the Smart Connect feature. Connected up just fine, but about 30% of the listed commands don't work and even when it executes correctly, Google still complains. GE engineering suggested I get a new unit. Done. Still the same issues, returned. The complaint was then "escalated" again which is the new tech term for throwing in the waste basket, although the first CSR did his best to help, engineering still on a coffee break after 2 weeks. One might consider a Profile version for @$300 cheaper with no Smart Connect but seemingly the same basic unit.

    Sent back for return. This microwave is huge, the back is very large which makes it stick out on the counter. The sides are black, which to me doesn’t match any of the GE cafe appliances I purchased. I can’t say if it works well or not, didn’t try it since the color and size didn’t work for me. Honestly too much money for a microwave.

    Even though the 1k watts are the same as my old microwave, everything heats slower. The popcorn feature is useless, as it’s not even close to popping the bag.

      Hello- We are sorry to hear your popcorn feature isn't working well. We'd like to offer some troubleshooting tips that should help. The Popcorn pad provides a one-touch method of cooking your favorite microwave popcorn without having to guess the correct time needed. There are two different types of Popcorn pads. The microwave will have either a "humidity sensor" pad or a "timed" pad. Note: If the popcorn is slightly overdone or undercooked, the cooking time can be adjusted up or down by twenty seconds. Touch the Popcorn pad and then the "9" to add twenty seconds or touch the Popcorn pad and "1" to subtract twenty seconds. We hope this helps!     Don’t waste your money on this product. More $$$ does not mean better quality. This product broke after 1 1/2 years. Costs more than 200 to fix. Warranties are only good for 1 year.

    Broken already. Convection does not work. It’s 4 months old. Best Buy won’t allow returns. Now dealing with wonderful GE service. First service call rescheduled. Second the showed up and said they needed parts so don’t use convection. Have no idea when or if they will be back.

    Replaced a 15yr old unit. It's been a great upgrade and is very efficient at heating and cooking smaller dishes when the oven is full. Trim piece ordered at same time never arrived. Shipped to store. The box it was in at pickup was sketchy, we opened in store to make sure there was no damage

    Arrived with major damage. Had to repackage and haul it to a local UPS office to ship it back. Not only was it damaged, it appeared to be an older version of the product we purchased.

    Appliance was damaged. Considering the way the package looked, this should not have been sold. Had to drive 35 miles to pick up. Extremely disappointed.

    Garbage - Broke in less than year, GE won't repair

    The Microwave dies after 9 months of use. GE refuses to repair it under warranty. They tell me that it will cost $130 to send a repair person out, but they refuse to tell me what the labor and parts might cost. So not knowing if this is going to cost me $500 to repair a product that hasn't even lasted a year, I've decided that this appliance is garbage and a money pit. Do not buy.
