Induction is a great deduction, Sherlock!

We upgraded to this induction cooktop and are glad we did! It works on the same principle as your phone chargers through magnetic induction. This means that the cooktop doesn't get hot, only our pots and pans do! On our electric cooktop it you removed the pot or pan you could still burn yourself on the cooktop since I was still hot! With an induction cooktop when you take the pot or pan off the top it is warm but not hot...a lot safer to anyone in the kitchen!

We were moving over from an electric cooktop and my wife preferred a gray cooktop and because it had to be 30", our choices were limited. Overall, easy install, looks great and cooks quickly and evenly. We are very pleased with this product.
