Call of Duty 4 is one of the best game to get for your ps3. With the Blue-ray, the graphics are excellent. Even if you have not played first-person shooter games before, you'll learn that it will be fun no matter what. The single-player helps you learn the controls and gameplay of COD4, with very interesting missions. You will be completing many different types of missions. The online play becomes very addicting once you start. This game is worth every cent.

This game is the best first person shooter I've ever played. The graphics are unbelieveable. Bright, great color, no glitches, shadows match object perfectly. Also the gameplay is very very smooth and realistic. The story line is rather short though but the gameplay and graphics completely make up for it. Also has skill levels for all players ranging from beginner to veteran. I absolutely love this game and would reccomend you buy this game for PS3.

There is a reason why this was the game of the year. (Three Words) This_Game_Rocks. This was my first Call of Duty game that I've ever played. I expected it to be like any other shooter game....I was wrong. From beginning to end it's filled with great graphics and gameplay. If you never played andy COD games (like me), this is a great one to begin with. At first the control might seem weird to you, but you'll get used to it in matter of minutes.

Call of Duty 4 is an amazing input to the highly-acclaimed franchise. Though the war is sort of hard to follow along with, the gamplay is just jaw dropping. The sound of the game makes you feel like your in the game, and the multiplayer is as smooth as silk. Something that disappointed me was the short campaign, which took about three days to complete. Also, the SIXAXIS controller was not used. (not even for melee) But overall, this game is great.

ive always spent most of my time playing fifa soccer games but with this game im going to be playing less soccer n more killing the game is awesome nice story line and great guns i havent really play online the few times i went there was very lil people i dont know if is like that all the time i usually play after 10 pm maybe thats the reason but i still love the game a lot better than call of duty 3 so guys get it and ill see u online

Call of Duty 4 is one of the few titles I own, not because I'm picky about games but once I pass a game I see no use to keep it. This game however offers online play and I have to say it is a must own game. The graphics kick butt. Single player mode is shorter than I would have liked but is rewarding enough. For online play there have been patches to solve problems and introduce new maps so in the future it will only get better.

I am currently stationed in Baghdad, Iraq with the 4th Infantry Division. I brought my PS3 to pass the time while being here. It was best purchase I could have made. Then having brought Call To Duty 4, Modern Warfare put it over the top. The game keeps you playing because of the intensity of the firefights and the reality of the storyline. Being able to use weapons that we carry over here was fun. And in a joint command environment, I have introduced this game to my fellow Brits and Australian brothers over here. We all agree that it is scary how real some of the action scenes are. Our only complaint is we could not go through the storyline as multiplayers. Also, the lack of high speed internet connections over here does not allow us the opportunity to go on-line where additional challenges await! But the game is a winner and a must buy if you are a service member. HOOAH!

This is up there with Resistance as far as the best shooter game out for the PS3. The graphics awesome and the gameplay is even better. If you are looking for realistic, tactical gaming, this is for you. Try is on the Veteran setting if you dare. It dosent get much better than this. If you dont have, then you need to get. Play it in HD, and you will be shocked! Even if you arent a fan of war, this game is exremely addictive.

This game is the ideal online ownage that we have been waiting for. Sure the story is a lil short or "boring" but CALL OF DUTY ISNT KNOWN FOR ITS STORY...its simply a online monster...if you live souleee to play online FPS this is a MUST HAVE!!!or if your game library is all about online games..this game deserves to be locked in ur ps3 until call of duty 5 comes out..lol..JUST BUY IT YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!

This was the best game I have ever played short of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. It was better than GTA on all levels except for total game length and senerio posibilities. This game made me feel like I was back in Iraq. It also had some unexpected twists in the story line, Great writing!! You will get hooked like I did and it'll be over in no time, I wanted to play it forever but It only lasted for a few days.

If you have a surround sound system, this game is for you. This is what the PS3 was made for. It's almost eerie how awesome the sound is on this game. It's almost worth it just for that. Luckily, the multiplayer experience is even better than the sound. Even though it's nothing that hasn't been done before, it still is one of the best MP experiences out there. Buy this game if you like FPS.

I found this game's online play the best. I wish i could give this game 4.5/5 stars because the story mode was short and boring. I'm pretty good online everything is pretty simple. But what i can't stand is P90s and M16s they are the noobiest guns in the game. This game is really good and i have very high xpectations 4 call of duty world at war. This game set the bar 4 first person shooters.

Game is great. It's really intense which allows you to feel apart of it from the begining. I'll recommend this title to anyone that likes FPS or anyone that likes shooting at things. I only hate that i'm always getting my @$$ handed to me online. I guess that's because i suck, the game doesn't though so get it!

This game is a must for people who like to shoot some bad guys. I think it has awesome graphics on and offline. While online the server times out some times and it can be annoying. Also the guns you get are great, such a huge choice to choose from if your a high level. Whats great is you can get a knife to slice your enemies up. Its cool that you can go online and do offline multiplayer.

I have to say, this is a game you cannot live without. The best shooter on the Playstation ever. I can honestly say if my house burned down, the first thing I would grab is Call of Duty 4, than my life saving I keep under my matress, than maybe the Playstation. That's saying something. Crazy online gameplay and so many new weapons, nice maps, I wet playing the campaign it was that good.

This is the best war game i have ever purchased for the ps3. The graphics are unbeatable and they are just simply amazing. The gameplay and control is super yet challenging, i never get bored with it. The story line of this game is fantastic and the fighting settings are incredible. I would reccomend this game to everyone i dont know how any game could possibly get better than this one.

This is one of the very best games for the Playstation 3. The single-player campaign has a great storyline and is executed well. The multi-player portion of the game is the best out of the games I've played (Team Fortress 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Resistance) and you'll easily spend hours on it. I have almost 3 days worth of play time on it and I'm not even close to getting sick of it.

This is the best multiplayer game of all time. Better than Halo, hands down. The depth and complexities of the game set it apart. You can custom tailor your weapons to your liking and you acquire new abilities (perks) as you progress through the ranks online. Several options of online game modes keeps all gamers happy. The only flaw would be the lack of 2 player story mode.

This is the first 1st person shooter I have played in a very long time. I have been playing socom for the last 6 or so years and have not gone to another shooter till I bought my brand new beautiful ps3. The game can be very adictive and a thrill to play but the way the open mics work really does detract from playing. If you don't have a mic you can hear the mics through your TVs speakers... You just can't talk. Some people have a really poor mic and create a feedback loop as their mic picks up on its speaker and feeds the noise back in. The feedback becomes so bad you are forced to rip the headphones off your head before you go deaf. The other thing I cant stand about the mics is hearing peoples TV's over the mic and people talking in the background.

This game wasn't called "game of the year" for nothing. The game play is about closest to real life combat movment you will see on a video game. I was dissapointed about how short the game play was. Also dissapointed when I heard COD 5 was going back to WWII era. COD4 is the best COD game available right now. Well worth the money and the online play is one of the best.
