It's Call of Duty.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game sort of doesn't deserve 4 stars, but not all of its warts are the game's fault per se. First of all, the good: This is the best CoD in a few years, in my humble opinion. I'm obviously talking solely about multiplayer because What Is Call of Duty Campaign. It feels pretty solid, there's no more dashing/thrust packing/ice skating/wall running, and I like the way they've streamlined many of the perks and attachments. I feel less clueless when it comes to making a class with regard to what's best for my playstyle. Now, the bad: Because it's 2017, they had to add a Headquarters (think Destiny), which is a multiplayer hub of sorts that hogs resources and computing power. They've patched it since the game's launch, and it's better now, but it still doesn't need to exist. And, of course, because it's 2017, Loot Crates. Also, after playing Battlefield 1 most recently, I've come to realize CoD's sound design is terrible in comparison. My firearms feel and sound like pop guns. Lastly, campers still reign supreme in CoD. As mentioned above, this isn't the game's fault but rather the players who prioritize K/D over fun/actually playing the game. In any case, if you like CoD games, this is a known quantity, and it's worth picking up, especially if you share content with a friend. I would not recommend paying full price and expecting 100% satisfaction. Listen to more video game news & reviews on the 2v1 Podcast on iTunes. Thanks for reading! -Sworbachev

Call of Duty: WWII
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is great and I enjoy everything it offers the campaign is very intense and has new ways to interact and a lot of teamwork is recommended. Multiplayer has a new way to interact with other players and has classic weapons. And Zombies mode is amazing, scary, and just really great and fun.

Overall a Fun Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the game itself...The graphics look great in the beginning and seem to become a bit more cartoonish than what they showed in the trailers. Definitely a lot of inserting female characters for the sake of equality (or pandering to the social climate). Some of the levels feel extremely isolating like the tank level. I feel like they should have told the whole story through one characters perspective and a shorter timespan as it seems to jump around too much for my taste. Brothers in arms is a great example of flow to a WW2 game. I like single player games to get immersed in the environment, so I didn't play much of the multiplayer. Ultimately I think they spread their resources around too much with multiplayer/zombies and the single player suffered. The sounds are great. Enemy animations are great. Im glad there are lots of troops running around to give you a sense scale but for some reason (I think the graphics) the maps can feel pretty narrow and lifeless. I hate to say it (as I enjoy the call of duty campaigns much more) but the graphics in battlefield 1 just felt much less cartoony and made landscapes feel larger. This game needed more dark grittiness like world at war. Having said all of this it is the best call of duty campaign since modern warfare 2. Just wish more time was focused on a very tight single player experience.

So Good to be Back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personally, I am glad that Call of Duty returned to its roots in the great world wars. It was getting pretty far fetched with the last few. I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign and the multiplayer has been fast, and fluid with no glitchy play or unbalanced sides. It's been well worth my time.

Great for CoD fans!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very torn on this game. If you are a CoD fan, this is more of the same. You will get exactly what you expected, nothing more, nothing less. The multiplayer is addictive and single player campaign is fairly decent ride. Expect 6-8 hours to run through the campaign on normal. However, as someone coming from Battlefield 1, this game is somewhat underwhelming.

Return to Basics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.COD WW2 illustrates the concept "less is more." Gone are the Exo-suits and the litany of perks/attachments from previous installments that felt more like gimmicks than advances in gameplay. Instead, WW2 reintroduces the ground game, a welcome return in my opinion, thus placing an emphasis on stick skills rather than double tapping A in order to jump around like a flea and fly across the map. Overall, the experience is much more rewarding. WW2 essentially returns to the basics, but does so with enough grace to ensure the gameplay remains fun. With over 40 online hours on my account already, I haven't tired of the game at all, and I expect to rack up plenty more hours throughout the coming year.

Crazy realistic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m new to shooters and I’m struggling a bit with this one. It doesn’t seem to place me into groups of new people when I play online. Maybe I’m missing a setting?? Anyway it’s so realistic. I think about it a lot even when I’m not playing. Even though am terrible in online play, I still have fun playing it.

Return to combat on the ground!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very satisfying Call of Duty game based on the events of War World II. COD return back to its roots by having combat back on the ground and not futuristic like the past few games. Campaign is great and the multiplayer is satisfying.

Best CoD in years!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very hesitant to pick this up since the last few games have been utter garbage. After playing it for a few hours at a relatives house I was sold. I picked it up at $40 for Black Friday and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Incredible first person shooter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They created it so it feels as back in the world war two era. The graphics are the best I've seen and the multiplayer is so fast and easy. The new systems of playing gives more hours of entertainment. Very highly recommended

Much needed reboot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm glad they went back to WW2, and not continuing with futuristic games. I haven't purchased call of duty in years because it lost its touch but this one has been enjoyable! Campaign has been fun, and multiplayer is great!
