I purchased the grill in September 2020. Grills okay but now I see a permanent stain/mark on the flat grille surfaces that cannot be removed. I will be calling customer service as I have tried mulitple dish detergents to remove these marks without success. Overall, grills fine but does produce alot of smoke and flattens out any meat that is placed on the grille when the top grille is utilized.

I thought this might be a hit with my wife and daughters and for once, I wasn't wrong. Our use of the product has slowed, but initially, we were knocking out paninis pretty regularly. It seems to be a pretty solid piece of equipment and I like the temperature know and the digital read-out. We have noticed that when we make a thicker sandwich, the lid may not come down flat and might have to be adjusted to prevent the back from being smushed and the front from getting only limited pressure. All things considered, it makes a good sandwich and the plates don't seem to be too hard to clean.

I use this grill fairly frequently - about twice a week mostly for chicken and vegetables. I also use the griddle plates, maybe once a week. It heats up quickly and cooks very evenly. There are a couple of problems with it that we've been looking past because it's so convenient. On is that there's still a strong plastic smell when heating up; I assume this is the nonstick coating. I thought it would go away after a few uses, but I've had it for a few months and it's still there while preheating. And like other reviews mentioned, I've only used rubber spatulas, but there are still some small chips in the nonstick coating.

Looks good, works, perfectly, solidly built, heats quickly and evenly. Two sets of ceramic trays. Super easy to use and in a different league to the others like the George Foreman etc.

This is truly the best cooking device I have ever. Cooks and sears top and bottom at the same time. At 450 degrees it took 4 minutes to cook my steak. 4-6 minutes if it is a thick cut or you like it well done. I like medium rare Clean up is a breeze. No more cooking steaks on an outdoor grill.

I really like the way I can control the temperature on this Calphalon electric grill. I also like that I can remove the grill plates and wash them. The grill cooks the food evenly and well and the non-stick coating really works.

I love this thing! It's perfect for my countertop. If it happens to be raining or bad weather, I can throw burgers on this thing and it works like a charm! The skillet flats are super easy to clean and maintain.

Evensear indoor grill bought as a housewarming present for myself. Very expensive. Only bought it because I had a gift certificate and wanted to buy something new for my house. If you wanted something cheaper and just as useful you could probably just get a George Foreman grill for way way cheaper. This is built quality though. Hopefully will last a long time for the price. $140 or so, new. Impulse buy that I haven’t regretted so far. If you wanna get Boujee about indoor grilling. This is a good start for a beginner.

We used this for hamburger and hot dogs; worked great. It is even awesome on veggies like zucchini and eggplant.

The unit is heavier than the brands I've used. The unit heats well and cooks meats evenly.

As you prepare the meat to grill, it will beep to let you know, the desire temperature is ready. Easy to Clean Afterwards.

Works pretty good. I really like the temperature control and how easy it is to remove and clean the heating surfaces. The upper heating surface is actually secure so it doesn't fall out like my George Foreman one did so I threw George in the trash

Several things wrong here. First the controls and display should be in the handle and not in front where the grease trap needs to be. I had grease getting all on the control knob and the LCD display. The grease tray in back you never see and it is too small. This grill is so small i can only get one steak on it to try and keeps edges clear so grease does not fly out from the grill tops. When you lift the lid grease will drip down everywhere in the back. In my opinion go buy a TFal Omni it is a better grill.

Very easy clean up and the fact that it folds out is awesome!!
