Good movie scary too and good graphics it looks beautiful on 4k

Candyman has always had racial undertones to it from the origination of Candyman in the 1800s to continuation of story moving into the ghettos of Chicago. Had this movie been released 5 years ago it would be applauded and appreciated for the decently written piece it is; however most never picked up on the racial undertones apparently in the one star views in the original movie series since the political climate was not driving that as an unsettling topic. Not being what is considered "woke" as the term is used today. Really appreciated the ending to this one and the incorporation of needing a witness. A witness to continue that legacy..."Tell everyone..."

This Requel is true to the original and is such an amazing movie!

This film may not seem like it at first, but trust me when I say it is a great film to watch with the original Candyman in a double feature. Candyman is a film that attempted to be a franchise in the 90s, though it seems you could easily ignore the other Candyman sequels if you wanted. Jordan Peele wrote a great story for this new Candyman film, and it does not disrespect the original in any way. Being a new film, Candyman in 4K is immaculate, along with the audio. Highly recommended!

Candyman 2021 wasn’t as good as I hoped. It did the best with the screenplay they had but ultimately fell flat. I like how this Candyman connects to the original film. I honest like the original film better than this one. This film has an stellar cast but even that couldn’t save it. I commend Nia Decosta for making the best out the screenplay that even Jorden Peele helped penned couldn’t save. If another film is made hopefully it’ll be better this one ends setting up a sequel.

This movie was a pleasant surprise for me by bringing the Candyman mythos full circle. This is not a reboot, but a continuation of the original story. It includes (unfortunately) issues that we were dealing with then and still do today. Jordan Peele is definitely associating his name with very interesting horror story telling. Glad to have this in my collection.

A timely reboot/continuation of the original Candyman film series from director Nia DaCosta. The film honors what was previously established while building on the mythology. The sound and picture look great on the disc, with the director having an eye for intriguing visuals. A must-add for any horror lovers’ collection.

Candyman Say It was a really good film. a I own the original Candyman film on which is a classic. This film ties in the history of the Candyman and the issues that has always hunted the community, like crime and racism and the ghost of Candyman turns his attention these issues.

Jordan Peele ceases to amaze me he has the Midas touch when it comes to the horror genre it touches on subject that are relevant in society today but also stays true to the original but they also did something different and it worked and it was great to see Tony Todd at the end

I was a bit hesitant when it was announced they were rebooting Candyman but this was an absolutely thrill. Great storyline, fine acting, did the original justice.

Picked this up while on sale at a reasonable price. I thought the movie did a good job on giving us a fresh new look at Candyman and some pretty good scares. Can’t wait to watch it again with guest.

Just a low level horror film really bad cast and plot only worth $2.00 bin

This movie brought back memories of the fear of saying candyman 5 times in a mirror. Definitely worth the watch. However, I’d call this more of a thriller versus a horror film.

Very different take on the CANDYMAN films. Jordan Peele did a very good job in this entry into the Candyman story. Really liked the departure from the original. Recommend a watch!

Decent continuation of the series from the original 1992 Candyman, couple scenes could have been done better, but looking forward to the next one (if thats a thing)

A remake we didn’t ask for but received and executed so well not just for update sake but for mythology sake and it’s beautiful. One of the Underrated films of 2021

Good movie , it’s a little different from the original but still good and they do tie it in from the first movie and the original candyman come in at the end .

An enjoyable remake of the original classic. I liked the modernization of the Candyman urban legend, allowing for a more current and relatable feel with the characters. It's a good watch for a movie night, I highly recommend!

What can you say about Candyman. If you watch the beginning and understand Caprini Green, then this is a movie worth watching. Tony Todd is an actor I like and have personally met so of course I would want to see this.
