I bought this lens for my international trip. Never had a wide angle Len before. Used it the majority of the time during the trip. Great lens. Pictures came out clear both days and nights. Great for sceneries.

This lens was a fantastic starting point. When purchasing, I was looking for something a little more bokeh based so I didn't end up keeping it. However, I photographed portraits, scenery, and various other events with it. Definitely not a main lens, but something I will end up buying again in the future!

Love the wide angle on this lens as well as the high aperture capabilities.

This lens is amazing for wide angle shots! I use this lens for landscapes and city scapes on my Canon 7D, and the pictures come out amazing! The lens is best used at about f 8 - f 11

This is a great lens. I bought it so I could take pictures during my recent trip to Morocco. I was able to capture full landscapes and great pictures of groups of people with amazing and full backgrounds. It took some time for me to get used to a fixed focal length (probably because I am a novice photographer) but it forced me to get fully emerged in the shoot and get into some interesting positions to get the picture I wanted. In this way, I feel this lens helped me become a better photographer. Overall, the lens allowed me to capture the exact images I envisioned.

I love this lense! I always get clean sharp images. I have zoom lenses as well, but the prime lenses are so much better. I love Best Buy also! I buy all my camera equipment from here They have the best customer service around.
