I purchased this lens during a sale without really sampling the lens. The auto focus and zoom on this lens are quick easy, as well as continuing to take quality photos. I would recommend however, trying out a lens before purchasing to be sure it is the right lens for you. That being said, it is a great lens for the price and I do not regret spending the money on it.

Still Learning it as a beginner but I think it is easy to handle and takes good pictures. Great camera to learn on.

Good quality and really captures pictures from a distance, whether it is at a game, nature or outdoor activity (race, car races, etc).

I bought this to take pictures in low light situations. I have a 75-300mm that takes great pictures, but they get blurry in low light, This lens takes clear pictures in all light.

This lens is great for both sports and portraits. Photos are crisp and look amazing. Totally in love!

I absolutely love this camera and doom lens! In recent years I've gotten lazy photographing my family by using my phone... Decided time to "upgrade" and get back to using an SLR. While this camera wasn't one i was researching, my husband surprised me with it and the additional zoom. I'm so happy with this set up!!! Quick and easy to change the lens. This zoom in particular gives me an incredibly sharp photo even 3/4 of s soccer field away!

I bought this lens at the same time I bought my Canon 70D with 18-135mm stm kit lens. This lens is a lot lighter than my kit lens. It's perfect for sports. I think the only thing that bothered me was that it's a plastic mount instead of a metal mount. But other than that, this is a perfect second lens.

I was afraid this would be too bulky to carry around while taking pictures but it really isn't. I take pictures of sports and action shots fairly far away but not too far away, enough to see faces clearly sometimes. The photos come out clear just the fact that the lighting from the sun screws up the person moving a lot so look into a lens hood if you're really into it. Photos come out clear and great otherwise

I had tickets for the 2018 NHL All Star Weekend 4 rows off ice between the player benches. I didn't feel the standard 18-55mm lens would capture what I was looking for that weekend. This telephoto lens delivered everything I wanted and more. Easy to use and worth every penny. Unfortunately I cannot upload/share photos as this site limits to 5mb pictures. Trust me, they are great pics!

I bought this lens before I went out west. Tried it from the airplane as we were flying over the Grand Canyon, holy molly was those some good photos. Didn't use it too much in Vegas except for on top of the hotels but used it a lot in Death Valley and The Grand Canyon.

I purchased this lens along with the Canon rebel Sl1. I am new to the DSLR world and have had some trouble learning the correct settings for the different photo situations. With that being said, I love this lens! I did some research before I made the purchase & it was highly recommended. It has been a lifesaver at my children's sporting events. Definitely worth paying a little extra for this upgraded zoom lens.

Really love this lense for beginner photography! It has a great adjustment and it teaches you to move around with it!!

Excellent quality lens. Just like you would expect from a brand like Canon! Clarity is amazing. It does have some low light focus issues on my SL2, but SL2's do not do all that well in low light. So maybe camera-related. Overall, I would have to say I felt that it was a great pruchase.

I love what this lens does for me over the standard lens. I might have preferred the zoom to 300 but it wasn't available with the stabilizer feature. Still, am happy with the purchase.

Recently I bought this. It was awesome. I took lot of pictures with the help of lens. I was able to capture photoes from long distance . The quality with T6i and this zoom lens with very good

Was able to zoom in on birds in flight, get details of sunrises/sunsets, but can't zoom out far enough to get a "total picture landscape". Needed to change lenses for that. Good quality pictures.
