    PERFECT starter lense. Using on a crop sensor, it was about a 75mm FL. have to step back quite a bit to fit everything in frame, but overal definitely recomend

    I have not had a chance to try this lens out yet, I'm confident it will be at least a 4 if not a 5 if it works out as good as all the other reviews I read on it before purchasing it. I love taking very detailed close-up pictures of my flowers during the spring, summer and fall, so time will tell,.........

    This lens didn't have the magic effect on my photography that I had hoped for--ha ha! It is a little tricky to get used to focusing with the wide aperture lens. On the other hand, you are able to get a nice effect with the blurred background for portraits and close-ups. The lens works fine with my Canon EOS 60D.
