I’ve been shooting birds with it and it’s amazing. I shoot with an M6 Mark II mirrorless I had to buy the adapter but it’s worth it.

Doenst focus well, in low light, tried RF AND ITS EXTREEMELY FAST.

I have been wishing for this lens for a long time and finally got it when it was $200 off. It’s everything I was expecting! Fast focus. Sharp images. Great in low light. Creamy bokeh! Also the weight! (it’s heavy) but I think I will get used to it or just use my monopod more.

Rated by many as quite possibly the best telephoto zoom on any camera platform for sharpness, color reproduction, flare reduction, focus speed, etc. Adding a 1.4x teleconverter let's you extend your reach out to 280mm or 320 if you have an APS-C sensor, at the cost of only 1 stop, making it an f4. Put a 2x teleconverter on instead, and you have a 400mm, or 640 on an APS-C sensor camera for the cost of two f stops. Con - it's a bit heavy (3lb).

I bought this lens to upgrade from my 70-200 2.8L non-IS which is not supported for 12FPS on the R6. I am glad I did because the image quality is much better. So why not the RF mount. A few reasons. 1. You can use extenders with this one which I do from time to time. 2. works with my DSLRs. 3. The Zoom ring is more responsive (does not turn as far) so it is easier to zoom in and out. 4, I like that it is all enclosed, it seems like the weather sealing will last longer (which may not be true). 5. Over $700 cheaper. The downside is this lens is heavier, less compact, and from what I have read, not as sharp as the RF mount version. However, I felt that none of that was worth the extra cash and the pros weighed out the cons.

The best lense I own, a little heavy but hey you want the best, look at it like a work out while you practice your art. Tack sharp images, fast focus. Using this with a 5Dm4. Happy camper here!

This product is amazing. I’m getting back into photography and I needed a lens like this that can shoot beautiful portraits as well as capture the amazing landscapes here in Pahokee and the glades area where I live. The versatility and quality of the lens is incredible. Very photographer no matter their level of craft or experience needs this lens in their toolkit!

I own the version II. The Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II came out in 2010. The Version III came out in 2018. The mechanics are the same. But the main difference is the new version has a "Air Sphere Coating (ASC)" to reduce flare and ghosting. It's more of a benefit if you do studio photography. This lens is pretty much a must-have for any Canon photographer; you'd had to be a really bad photographer to get bad photos with this lens. This lens pretty much does all the work for you. Plenty of Bokeh The only negative is that it's heavy and expensive.

I was borrowing a friend's IS II version of the lens for a while and was pleased, so I expected the IS III release to be great. I am very satisfied along with all others reviewing the lens. I'm using the lens primarily for shooting cross country running and track meets with my EOS 80D, and the action shots are popular with all the kids and the parents on the team. I'm not a pro at all, but I'm learning how to get the best action shots with perfect clarity. This is a must-have lens, and it's paid for itself with the quality shots I'm getting.

Very easy to use. Kinda heavy but it's not that bad as you get used to it. Pictures come out real nice pre-production.

Unbelievable camera lens. Using it on a canon r7 right now and this it definitely takes some amazing photos. I shoot in manual mode with fast moving ice hockey and this lens is great especially taking pictures through glass and different lighting in every rink. I know it’s expensive but definitely worth the money. Upgrading the the r6 mark ii soon and excited to see what it can do with that

I rent the RF 70-200 used it for a month great lens but i did a value check and this lens was just as good. Despite being a little longer and heavy i seen no difference in image quality. I shoot with canon R6mii
