    I bought this as a gift for my gf for our anniversary. This is a major upgrade from her phone camera. She enjoys learning about the features and loves the touchscreen capabilities. The quality is outstanding.

    I bought this camera for my daughter and she loves it. The guy who help her to decide was awesome...he took the time to explain her the different options and even though it was close 5 minutes to closing time we didn't feel rushed.

    We all cannot afford the higher priced full framed DSLR's or even the higher end APS-C sensor camera's. This is a great camera for a first time photographer or an experienced on on a budget. At 24.2 mega pixels, fast auto-focusing points, exceptional live view mode, tilting touch-screen, wifi and NFC the camera packs a lot of features. Consider this camera with the 15-85mm lens and you will be set for a wide range of focal lengths over the 18-55mm kit lens that mine came with.
