Awesome Camera, just go for it. It is a great camera and gives best colors and pictures out of the box, I have used Sony Mirrorless cameras but but this is much much better, it is a masterpiece. Canon color science is just awesome and the features are great too. I am really happy that I selected this camera.

I’m very happy with this camera. Incredibly easy to use and quality of the photos is definitely better than my iPhone. Especially the stabilizer which significantly improves dark photos. My old film sleep didn’t allow for this technology and I lost many a great photo.

Upgrading from a EOS Rebel T3. Purchased this camera with the EF-RF mount adapter with control ring. This camera is money well spent. The advancement in camera technology from 2012 to now has been a jump I have enjoyed throughly. I like the new functionality of the control ring on the lenses, giving me more control without having to pull the camera from my eyes.
Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that the R, R5, or the R6 but for a first camera into Full Frame… this camera is worth the jump. Note to those looking to upgrade but was like me and didn’t want to sink into the bank for the R5 or R6; EF lenses on the adapter gives you full frame. This should be self explanatory but when I initially did my research it was a little ambiguous. EF-S lenses are locked to 1.6 crop.
5 frames per second in continuous shooting is good enough for my needs, and was better than most professional reviewers would describe. This camera is well built and I am itching to shoot more. Highly recommend.

The Canon EOS RP is a game-changer for entry-level full-frame photography. Its full-frame sensor delivers stunning image quality without burning a hole in your wallet. The colors are vibrant and true-to-life, making editing a breeze. The rotatable screen opens up creative possibilities and adds a fun factor to shooting.
However, the video quality falls a bit short of expectations, and the lack of in-built image stabilization means you'll need IS lenses, which can add to the cost. Despite these drawbacks, the EOS RP remains a top choice for those venturing into full-frame territory. It's a budget-friendly powerhouse that delivers where it counts.

This camera is good, but not amazing. I took some night time shots and they were better than my G7X, but not amazingly better enough to lug around an extra camera on trips. The mirrorless aspect is good, although sometimes a bit laggy. I can see how mirrorless is the wave of the future. I ended up returning it because the battery life isn't that good. Since mirrorless photography is much more screen intensive, using a stock entry level DSLR battery is a bad design choice.

It is definitely a great camera for beginners. Though the battery life is not long: I can shot for about 200 photos with a full battery. Overall I am really obsessed with using it!

Perfect camera. I switched from Nikon to Canon. This camera has so many options and is super easy to use. I rarely have to use a flash in low light settings. I use this camera for work and have not had any issues at all.

I was hesitant going from the typical dslr and switching to mirrorless but after doing a bunch of research I came across the eos RP. The fact that it was full frame, almost 30 megapixels, could shoot 4k and also shoots 24 fps and then to top it off the price! It's a hard one to beat. It performs amazing in low light with no noise at even a high iso which is incredible for night photography. All around a great choice!
