I truly believe that the Canon - PGI-270XL ink is the reason for the excellent print quality of the Canon MG7720 printer. I realize its more expensive but its worth it.

I bought a Canon printer and I buy my ink from Best Buy since they give a discount for printer ink. My only objection is that some cartridges (the most expensive ones) run out sooner than others and I can't take advantage of the multi-packages because I end up with too much 271 Y and 271BK. The Cyan and Magenta run out sooner and the 270PGBK really runs out fast. I have paid more for cartridges in a year than I paid for the printer. Also, when my first Canon printer broke within the warranty period, they no longer had a Canon printer that took the same cartridges so I lost all the new ones that went to the old printer. Now I don't buy a new cartridge until it tells me a color is getting low on ink with the exclamation mark in the yellow triangle and I usually have a least 2 weeks notice before it actually tells you to stop printing.

Using the XL cartridges saves time with fewer cartridge changes and appears to save on cost.

22.2 ml of black ink for $40.00 seems very expensive to me. Why not also give a page count in the advertising and on the package? The ink gives good rendition of text.

Like the XL cartridges. Get more uses out of it than regular cartridges.

Why waste time and money running to the store for ink cartridges when you can order them online and have them delivered at a great price? Very happy with the purchase.
