Vast improvement over some recent Canon cameras I have owned. Quick flash, good pictures, easy to use, long battery life.

I love this camera. Takes such great pictures. Especially the auto feature. It seems to perform well in all sorts of light. Simple to use and as I mentioned the pictures are great and enough pixel info to get decent sized photos that look as well as some way more expensive cameras. It beats the pants off an iphone, I will tell you that. Great pics.

This was just what we expected. A simple, cheap camera to throw around the jeep, and not worry about scratching it. The pictures come out very clear, and crisp. The zoom is a nice feature. Our last camera had the switches sticking out a bit, which allowed them to get moved to another setting. This design is much better. We use windows 8 on a pc to quickly and simply upload the entire picture file from the sd card. No issues with the drivers, nor the connection.

I loved this camera! It was my first one and I give it a thumbs up! :) When I first got it, I really liked the striking color and appearence. It has good quality and different types of it to get the best picture. It does have short battery life. So i reccormend that you charge it for a long time if you are ona trip and don't have access to a plug or computer outlet. This camera is also has a big screen. Which is good but can get smudged VERY easily. To prevent the scratching of the screen, I suggest you get a screen protector and a case to hold your camera. I am so afraid of dropping it so I would DEFINATLY reccormend this. Overall, GREAT CAMERA, GREAT QUALITY, AND YOU SHOULD GET IT <3

Took wonderful pictures on vacation. Love how it switches automatically between best settings when on auto. Very good in low light and battery life is good. You have to let it focus before snapping your pictures especially in low light, which slows things down a little. A very good little inexpensive camera that I would buy again.

This is a camera that does not intimidate me. I love the picture quality, size and bought it on a Deal Of The Day and that was even better. For such a small camera it does a variety of things I still am learning.

We purchased this camera for our trip to Hawaii and were very satisfied. It took great pictures that will last a lifetime on our Brady Bunch family vacation! There are a couple of pictures attached taken from the camera.

Have used this camera x 2 for grand children's events. Was disappointed in not being able to see subjects on screen in bright daylight. Performed better indoors and I low light.

Flash is great value and battery life is long. took over 200 pics -now ready for charge. Have to learn functions- too many if u want to be pro. I decide what to shoot -click- and I am done with auto flash. that's all I remove SD card stick it in my lap top and ready to make copies to send them by e-mail to my office or clients.. with ease .. save files on my lap top. I had Nikon coolpix similar size unit - died after 2 yrs. This is a good replacement. I miss my Nikon's slide view right on camera screen

Overall is a good pocket camera, great quantity of pixels, easy to use, good quality resolution, but you need to be careful when using its strap, is not too safe and takes seconds to take another photo. Its not fast. So i used it more for video recording.

I bought this camera I would say about a month ago, I purchased it at my local best buy for $130, I also bought the bundle as well. I used it a bit and went online to read up more about it and noticed the online and site to store price was only $90, I called the store and they said they would give it to me for the online price which was awesome!! Great job there! About the camera- I have used it outdoors a lot and it takes great pictures! I even took picture through a window at some birds and squirrels that turned out good! I have two small kids that move around a lot and it even catches them! I have always had issues with cameras taking blurred pictures of kids and pets. The settings are easy to use, uploading is easy, I can't really complain about it! I bought the blue one :) Great color choices :) **my picture attachment below is through a window and zoomed in!

    Just Misses Excellence

This camera has some great features that, unless you are extremely lucky or have another owner who has worked it all out to help you, you may never get to use. I have a great deal of experience and have shot photos professionally. I wanted a pocket camera that I could carry with me and be able to shoot better quality photos than I can with my smart phone. This camera fills the bill at twice the megapixels and 8x optical zoom (forget digital zoom). If you just want a point and shoot camera that is capable of capturing the best photos that a point and shoot can and you never plan on any setting other than auto, this camera is excellent. If you can find it on sale as I did at half original retail, this camera is a steal. For an experienced photographer who knows how to use the features this camera offers (if you can figure out how to get there), this camera is packed with goodies: Focal length 5.0 (W) - 40.0 (T) mm (35mm film equivalent: 28 (W) - 224 (T) mm). Yeah, that's the 35 mm equivalent of a 224 mm telephoto in a point and shoot. Multiple shots by simply holding the the button down (it's not extremely fast, but still a nice feature). Ability to set ISO. Exposure compensation: +/-2 stops in 1/3 stop increments. Wide setting for close to panoramic shots. Macro capabilities plus HD video. The quality of the lens is excellent and can yield crisp, clean shots. I do have a quibble with this camera's color rendering, and I have the same problem with my smart phone. I am also a working artist, and my color perception is more acute than that of most people--I can discern minor color differences very easily. This camera accentuates red; all other colors are rendered accurately. It doesn't matter how or on what the output is displayed--I have an advanced workstation and high-end flat screen as well as a Windows laptop (poor color rendering), an Apple MacBook (good color rendering), and a (once) high-end Dell desktop with accompanying Dell branded (Sony manufactured) monitor. I print on a Canon printer. I have shot stills of my own paintings and have done side by side comparisons. I'm very skilled with Photoshop and it is still difficult to color correct just to barely acceptable (for me). On the other hand, for every day shooting, the color rendering should be just fine for those who are not concerned about an exact rendering of a work of art. This is a very good camera. A better user manual, slightly better (red) color rendering (not that it is bad, it's just not as accurate as I would like, and I am very picky), and a little faster shutter delay, would make this a truly excellent camera. Also of note, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery is included along with a compact power adapter that does a full recharge in two hours. The camera doesn't come with a memory card, but it supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards up to 64 GB. When you see how many of the largest photos will fit on just a 4 GB card, you are going to be more than pleased. You should only need larger cards if you plan on shooting a lot of high-def video with this camera.

I generally shoot a Nikon SLR, not a professional, but decent amateur. In many everyday instances,I need a camera that's better than my iPhone but small enough to fit in my pocket. I liked the placement of buttons on this camera and logical menus - it was easy to pick up, shoot, and even use in a semi manual mode for enhanced results. The 8x optical zoom is very nice considering the small size. Battery life is decent and the screen is big and bright. Flash not great, but serviceable for a range of common uses. Only gripe is that the review delay time options are off, 2 sec, 3 sec, 4 sec, and more - I really need half sec or 1 sec. At the price point, it's a solid buy though.

Very pleased with this camera. Its easy to use and the pictures turn out well. Its small enough to be transportable and has been relatively durable so far. This isn't a top of the line camera, but if you're looking for a solid, point-and-shoot camera, this is a good, safe bet.

This is the second Canon camera we've purchased. We like the first one very much and continue to use it but not for picture that require zoom. (it wouldn't always work). For the price (clearance), this is a good point and shoot camera. It's lightweight, small; has a bigger preview screen and the quality of inside pictures is better than our first Canon camera. The only thing with both cameras is the difficulty seeing the preview screen in outdoor, sunlit settings.

I am enjoying my new camera. It is really the first camera I've owned, well I did have a Brownie camera when I was like 10. It takes really clear pics, (much nicer than my cell phone) it is easy to use, and have enjoyed learning how it works. The size is great and light weight so makes it easy to drop it in my purse. I am also enjoying taking pics of all the grandchildren

Purchased this camera to replace a larger one that I take backpacking. It replaced that one excellently. The battery life was very good. The picture quality was very impressive. It was pretty easy to use the camera. It was lacking is some of the picture customization capabilities that my old Sony had, but it's easy to live without them. They weren't used that often.
