A phone does not take pictures like a point and shoot camera... a phone is a multi use tool, while the camera is just made for that purpose. This camera takes very good pictures, nice color management.

I purchased this camera for my trip to Europe as I stupidly bought an iPhone with not enough storage. The quality was about the same as my iPhone 6.

Took camera to Wrestlemania. Took decent pictures and video was clear. Always purchase an extra battery if your going to a major event.

This is my 4th Canon Camera, 3 of those 4 have been point and shoot cameras. I'm still figuring it out, I love the zoom lense on it. I also love that I can connect to my iPhone or iPad via Wi-Fi and transfer the photos to them. So far I'm definitely satisfied with it's performance. The battery doesn't last as long as some of my previous cameras. I suspect the Wi-Fi connection and probably the video feature are why the battery seems to drain faster. If I had known I would have bought a second battery to keep charged so that when the battery ran down I could switch and keep using the camera. Aside from that I have no complaints.

This is a nice little camera. Still trying to figure out how to use it, but so far, I have been pleased with it!!

This camera is great, works flawless and has great picture quality. Recommend for first time users and experienced users.

I have used Canon PowerShot cameras for about 15 years or so and this one seemed like a good choice based on my history with the brand. It took me quite a bit of frustration and time of trial and error to get the camera setup to connect to my computer with WiFI. It would be a far superior product if there was a cable to connect to my computer just as ALL of the other previous cameras I have used. Unfortunately, WiFi is the only choice for downloading the photos off of the camera. Otherwise, it seems great!

I liked the camera very much. It was compact and easy to use. I would recommend it for anyone that wants to point and shoot.

I love this camera. It's a little hard to set up but worth it when you do. The pics turn out great and it connects very easily to your computer
