Takes nice pictures. But I kinda wish I looked into them a little more. I’m sure there are ones that focus better and taker sharper pictures.

Absolutely love this camera. I use it to vlog and I did read some reviews on the auto focus which is a pain but decided to buy anyways. However, with the overall use being consistent with steadiness and the colours of the picture. I love it.

I’ve never used a camera before but this one right here! I love it! I would’ve gave this camera 5 STARS BUT the focus could be a lot better! I still make it work tho! I use this camera for my YouTube channel! I Vlog & record everyday videos! I recommend it

I too was really looking forward to this release. A pocketable camera with great form factor that has a fast lens, built in ND filter, microphone input, touch screen menu system, USB-C charging, an easy system to transfer media wirelessly to my phone and a tiny flash that is surprisingly useful.
I pre-ordered it and was excited to add this to my photography arsenal alongside my other Canon cameras. The small size is perfect to carry along every day when the DSLR’s stay at home. And the image quality is fantastic IMHO, provided you’re shooting static subjects and are able to lock focus.
But.. and it’s a big but, the autofocus. It’s terrible! Seriously, my old Canon S90 has a better autofocus and that’s a 9 year old camera.
Additionally, if I even think about taking 4K video in anything but ta walk-in freezer it overheats in no time and locks up on you rendering the camera completely useless until it’s cooled back off.
I could go on and on about how awful it is, but see for yourself on the various (non-sponsored) reviews on YouTube. It’s so bad, I’m embarrassed for Canon and this is coming from a Canon fan with storm cases full of their products and former employee..
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed in a camera which is a shame because this one had so much potential.

I was hesitant about purchasing this camera due to the previous reviews, but decided to go for it after seeing that the firmware update to fix the autofocus issue had been released. No regrets at all!
