The major upgrades for G7X Mark iii are: 1. Mic input 2. 4K video in 29.97 & HD 120fps (Video Recording mode) I personally found the mic input very helpful. I wish they upgraded G5X Mark ii with the mic input as well.

Good small camera for a point and shoot. It has contrast auto focus but other than that it’s a great camera. It’s a canon and a small upgrade to the mark ii.

Overall for what I need the camera for it's good. After moving around some settings and installing the latest firmware for the autofocus, it's still not as responsive as it should be.

Needed a camera to hook up a wireless mic. I have the Mark ii- the focus and picture seems to be better on it vs the iii. Otherwise nice camera.

My gf really enjoyed this camera. We took this on a concert, the zoom is actually pretty good. Was able to film from a pretty far distance

I messed around and waited two weeks to use the camera for real and saw that it doesn’t focus at all. If you move an inch it goes blurry and takes 10-15 seconds to focus again sometimes longer.Battery dies fast. It’s trash. Wish I could get my money back :(

Works well, clear, accurate focus very well, as an adjuster, good clear photos are essential, Canon always has done great for me

If you're looking to start your photography portfolio or start a vlog. this camera can do it! With a 4k video record and 20.1 MP, you can do a whole lot.

It came in a good package but doesn’t even come anywhere near mark II. Such a failure model. I thought the direct live streaming would be a selling point, but it is not. So complicated process!!! I returned the camera and bought Sony ZV1. I never regretted for buying Mark II. Wish Canon maintain their benchmark.

This camera sucks for taking pictures. The auto focus is boo boo. The videos are ok as I believe this camera is a go to for a lot ov vloggers. I kept it for a few days to mess with the settings to see if it would get better but nope. Returned it for the Sony ZV-1 and have had no issues with that one. Don't buy this one

This is one of canons best cameras shooting in 4K at 30fps and it has a mic jack all on a point and shoot.. it was worth every penny
